Great camping with animals
Amazing campsite! Very much recommend this campsite. The site is beautiful and very peaceful. There are a lot of friendly animals around making it even more relaxing and fun. The staff are super nice and helpful. I very much recommend this site and probably come back!

This was our second time here and we still loved it. Jack was the best, so helpful and kind with the kids. The dogs were adorable and friendly, animals everywhere. Just the best family experience.

Happy Hilltop Site
Best for camping with kids
The hilltop was awesome. Away from the other camp sites yet you can still walk down to the main area to see the animals in the barn. You can really see the sky with nothing in the way. Unlike the other sites, this one didnt have a picnic table or hose for drinking water but we just ended up using the public grill / picnic table gazebo down in the main area. Drove down with our SUV and packed up when we finished.
Best part of it all was hanging out with all the barn animals. There are tons you can touch and play with and especially if you have young ones, you'll spend hours just playing with them. It just feels like you're at a friends property who happens to have huge amounts of land and animals running around. It's generally all fenced in around the main areas so kids can't really run off in different directions.
We really enjoyed our stay and our host jack is amazing and super friendly. He does great job taking care of the animals and making the campers feel comfortable. Thanks again!

Incredible experience, felt more like staying at a family friend's ranch than a random campsite. Sean and Ty have clearly put a ton of love and work into their property. Our kids loved feeding the animals and exploring the land. Truly a special place, with extremely friendly and accommodating hosts. Can't wait to return.

Loved staying here with my 3 year old daughter. The tent was huge and everything was immaculate. My daughter had the best time playing with all the animals and visiting the farm. Would 100% recommend to anyone looking for a nice getaway in the mountains!!

Camping with the goats and more
We, our children, and grandchildren had 3 sites for 3 nights. All the sites were clean and ready for us. We were greeted by Jack, Dustin and 5 dogs, all very friendly and helpful. Jack would invite the grandkids (6 and 8 years) every morning and evening to have them help him feeding all the animals and getting them in and out of the barn, they loved that. Jack gave them a weekend they will remember for a long time. All the adults had a great time as well

Happy Hilltop Site
Great group camping experience
We loved our experience here. Everyone at the farm was welcoming and helpful. We had the opportunity to spend ample time with the animals. Jack allowed us to feed the goats and the bunnies. We were on the hilltop and all three of our cars for comfortably. Although it was a bit isolated we felt very safe walking to the restroom and staying there because of the dogs. Great experience overall. Hardly any bugs which was a plus.

Ranch/Farm experience
If you want to experience a different type of camping, this is the place! Make sure you love and respect farm animals because it’s a whole experience. Jack was extremely helpful and wonderful during our stay. He gave us a tour of the ranch and animals, let us feed and touch them, and answered all our curious questions.
If you’re a light sleeper or have trouble falling asleep at night, just a huge heads up, it is not quiet like a typical campsite. The dogs will protect you, they stayed around our tents but would bark when they suspected something. And getting woken up by the roosters reminded me of being back in the Philippines. Would recommend especially if you have young ones.

Camping with farm animals :)
Stayed in the Geisha Glamping and it was the cutest tent and had a nice setup inside. Was really cool to wake up and feed/tend to the animals. Had really nice hammocks and string lights for a "common" outdoor dining area. I had to cut my trip short because it was too hot during the day (went in mid-June and it was almost 100 degrees during the day) but would definitely come back in the fall.

Great farm experience!
Probably the best animal experience I have ever had, no exaggeration. They have so many kinds and lots of space for them. Many just roam the property freely during the day. This would be a great location for a family reunion, very family and children friendly atmosphere with a variety of locations and types of housing to choose from. The swings were also super fun!

Great location, amenities and host.
Great, remote yet easy to reach location with a friendly host that checks in the morning + evening to tend to the animals and see how you're doing. The farm animals are fun and friendly, but do remember they are farm animals, so when the sun comes up, so are they, and they sometimes like to make themselves known.
You're close to the town of Julian and the state park of Anza Borrego, so you can get the best of both worlds within a 30 min drive of each location.
Check your car's floorboards before you leave else you may inadvertently drive off with a snoozing cat. :)

Camping with farm animals
My family stayed at the Geisha’s Glamping tent. We have two boys (age 5&7), the camp site was awesome, comfy beds and pillows. The kids loved the zip line, slack line, and ninja course. We helped feed the animals with Jack. There were rabbits, goats, pigs, chickens, sheep, cats, and dogs. He was an amazing guide/host, and went above and beyond. The area is beautiful and we went on a couple of family friendly hikes with beautiful views. I loved the peaceful environment and the quality time spent here, playing games and sitting around the fire. We would highly recommend and we are definitely coming back again!
I suggest asking what propane tank is used for the space heater they have available if you’re going during colder months. Be prepared with a flashlight to use on the way to the outhouse at night. :)

Happy Hilltop Site
My friends and I had a wonderful time camping at Loomerland. The hilltop site was peaceful with a beautiful view. The animals were very sweet and our hosts were welcoming and accommodating. We appreciated the power outlets, faucet, and gazebo by the outhouse. Initially, we picked Loomerland mainly for its proximity to Anza Borrego, but we ended up thoroughly enjoying the ranch as its own experience!

An opportunity to feel renewed.
I spent the the day at Loomerland with my boys, aged 13 and 11. We were truly enamored with the whole experience, from the ninja, slack, and zipline for the boys, to the hammocks and patio seating amongst the oaks for me. The big goofy livestock guardian dogs were a joy, as were the Noahs-ark parade line of friendly barn cats, chickens, goats, sheep, pot-belly pig, rabbits, and Ruby, the most huggable turkey ever. (We had to talk ourselves off of tucking her in our daypack and jumping in a getaway car.) It's a breath of fresh air away from the city, with gorgeous views and an energy that will leave you feeling revitalized, and we will most certainly be back to camp this summer. We picked up two dozen eggs from their free-ranging, happy hens to bring home for omelettes. Bonus, Julian pie "happened" to be on the way returning home. Yum.

Perfect family getaway
We had a wonderful experience at Loomerland. Our 5-year-old daughter did not want to leave. Beautiful grounds and views, clean, nicely-decorated tent with a playground right in front of our campsite. Our daughter loved meeting the bunnies, goats, pigs and chickens. We had peacocks wander in to visit us for breakfast one morning! Sean's family were super helpful and welcoming. Will definitely come back.

Amazing experience at loomerland in the 60's camper. The camper was extremely clean, cozy and accommodating. Highly recommend. The animals were amazing and fun. Sean, tylene, jack, paul and dustin are amazing hosts, extremely helpful and great people. 5 stars!!

Animals were a blast!
My 10 year old son and I had an amazing trip. We stayed on the RV site which had power to hook up and water. The property is beautiful and very large. Plenty of places to walk around and hike. The animals were the best part of the trip. There are tons of them and they are all friendly. My son couldn’t get enough.
Jack was absolutely wonderful, he greeted us and showed us around the property. He offered to let my son help him feed the animals in the morning and evening, take them in/out of there pens. Jack was so friendly and really made our trip special. We will be back.

Sean's property was great. Many camping sites. We camped at the top of the hill with amazing views. The kids loved helping the ranch hand with feeding the animals and putting them away in their pens in the evening and taking them out in the morning. We had a blast and will definitely be planning another visit. I would highly recommend this spot for anybody with kids.

A great farm experience
Nice large campsites. Convenient outhouse and water access, and they provide firewood. There was a zipline! I felt safe on my own with my kids since they had very alert dogs and the property was mostly fenced. My kids helped with feeding and herding the animals. They were super into it. I don't know many places that provide this type of up-close experience, so it was very special. I probably would not recommend the site to anyone who is not comfortable having animals all up in your business. They were inquisitive and friendly, sometimes too much so. If 6am animal noises, random poops, and curious noses are not your thing I would simply recommend the other sites that are closer to the main home.

Camping on a FARM!
We had the best time here!!! Sean was super helpful with answering all our questions planning for our stay! We stayed in the large Glamping Tent with an amazing view & large deck!
Our host Marissa was the sweetest and made our trip super memorable. I have teenagers and a preschooler who loved exploring the property and all the fun things to do!
Our close friends have already booked a trip in mid March & we may join them!

GREAT EXPERIENCE FOR KIDS!!!
My family had a great time in Loomerland Ranch. Great place for families specially with little kids. My girls 5 and 9 yrs old had a blast feeding the farm animals and getting fresh eggs. We loved playing with the farm dogs, we miss Yeti, Warner, and Bonnie. Marissa was a great host and really took care of us. Place was clean, secure, and a lot fun things to do.....CHECK OUT THE ZIPLINE!!!

Fun camping trip with animals
It was nice and quiet at the hilltop side. We had our own tent setup but looks like they have a glamping site and 2 tent setup by the main house plus 2 tent spots by the barn (with hammocks). Host was very friendly and very accommodating. Marissa took the time to give us a tour of the farm and always with a smile. Our kids loved every moment of our 2 night stay playing with all the animals. They made sure we have enough firewood during our stay. Definitely recommending this place to our friends and family. There is a zipline by the main house perfect for little kids! It is quite a bit of a walk from the hilltop site but Marissa was always eager to help us get up and down for us when needed!

Must see!
Our experience at Sean’s place “Loomer Land” was amazing from the start! They were kind enough to make sure we were more than comfortable during our stay and were very extremely hospitable. We had a great time overall and their assistant Jack was so nice to assist us with feeding/holding/taking pictures with all of farm animals (which were so adorable btw!) it really is a magical place with lots of great energy. We loved getting to know and talk to our hosts as well. Would highly recommend to anyone who wants to visit the area and we hope to be back in the future!
