Airy Canvas Yurt
Work in progress
The Yurt was as advertised and clean. Certainly worth the price paid. We did have a little trouble finding the yurt as the sun was setting because the dirt road was poorly marked. The dirt road has many very soft sections that could cause loss of control if you’re going too fast and aren’t experienced with dirt roads. When we did find the yurt, our car got stuck in the sand. Luckily the house had a shovel and there were a few sections of plywood we could put under the stuck wheels to back it out. 4WD largely essential. We chose a very windy weekend, so sitting by the fire was not enjoyable. The site needs a wind break and a picnic table. Also, be aware of snakes in the evening, particularly if you bring pets. A bit of a drive to get to JTree NP.

Airy Canvas Yurt
Enjoyed our stay! Night view was amazing. The Yurt was spacious and gave it just that extra experience. With a fire pit, it really did help you relax and enjoy the night. Cant wait to revisit.

Airy Canvas Yurt
Great desert getaway!
We loved our stay in the yurt. More than enough sleeping space for 4 people and everything was very clean, including the toilets. The host was extremely communicative and helpful both with directions and any questions/needs we had, including bringing us extra spindles of firewood! Star gazing was spectacular at night and some of our party had cell service. I’d definitely stay here again when looking to camp in the Joshua Tree area.

Wonder desert
Barebones camping at its finest. It’s just you and the land out here, but with that comes incredibly expansive views. The sunrise is really something else on this land. There’s a fire ring and a marker that marks which campsite is yours. Bring all your own camping gear to complete this setup as well as your own water. There’s a very clean outhouse near the main house too. This is a great spot to get some peace & quiet and connect with nature.

Open sky camping!
It’s exactly what we needed. Open space, big night sky, camp fire and our dog got to join us and roam the desert. Frank was super attentive to any questions or needs. There is a very nice clean restroom. We loved it and would definitely go back again.
