Our 120 remote acres are adjacent to Shasta Trinity National Forest in the beautiful Cascade Range between Mt. Lassen and Mt. Shasta in Northern California. It's a working ranch with tree farms, animals, hydroelectric power, sawmill, gardens, orchards, creeks, springs, trails, and our camp alongside Kosk Creek. We're 54 miles from Redding off of 299E, (about 1-1/2 hour drive). DO NOT TAKE ROAD 11 FROM THE NORTH, IT IS CLOSED! PIease try to ignore the "car art" in the Pit River Tribe's Rancheria as you're coming here. Drive right through it, it's no reflection on us. The last mile or so of the road here can be pretty rough, but on arrival, you'll know it's worth the trip! No Cell phone service available here, so it's the perfect opportunity to unplug. We do have a land line up at the house in case of an emergency. Also, if you really need it, WiFi is available at the house.

Site 4 - Tent Camp Stoney Meadows
Mountain Paradise
Beautiful site with great amenities. The campsites are right on the creek with the kitchen, bathroom, and shower a short walk away. Scott was very welcoming and provided all the info we needed to access the hot springs and local fishing spots. We will definitely be coming back to Stoney Meadows!

Site 2 - Creekside RV
A Shangri-la
A standout Hipcamp experience, starting with the owner, Scott, who clearly loves the land and enjoys sharing its bounty with his guests. We packed for a normal car camping experience but could have left most of the equipment at home. The outdoor kitchen is well supplied with a three burner camp stove, large gas grill, sink (with hot water), dishes, fridge, etc. A couple of us came to fish the Pit River and really appreciated the hot shower at the end of the day. Never did get to the hot springs, so we'll have to come back! Thank you Scott!

It was a nice time. The land was beautiful and serene. Camping next to a creek is dreamlike. Scott was the present host and he was accommodating and helpful. The dogs were also really friendly. Another bonus was the garden had some fruits and vegetables we got to harvest. We would definitely come again. Thank you!

Site 1 - Tent Camp Stoney Meadows
Bit of a hike down to site 1 but secluded once you're set up, and with creekside access! Stoney Meadows was easy to get to provided you follow the directions. There's a small outpost store up the way if you need items. Everything you need is at the campgrounds or the communal site however. There's no chairs for the camp site tables though so bring your own! The camp host Scott was nice, he came down to mingle in the common area after I had setup. My dog was welcomed and had a great time letting the ranch dogs boss him around lol. I enjoyed mountain biking with my dog on the many forest access roads in the area. Overall a fantastic place to camp, especially for the less versed in camping, or those with kids. (Great safe play area for children).

Room 1
Wow
Absolute fairy-tale property on an idyllic creek tucked away from the big, busy world. Fantastic glamping site and facilities on the banks of an idyllic creek. Amazing natural hot springs close by, a huge garden, adorable dogs and farm animals, I can't imagine it gets much better. The crown jewel of the place though is the host, Scott. What a character and overall breath of fresh air. Thanks, Scott, for a short but much enjoyed stay, I hope to be back 🙏🙏

Camping with the luxury of home!
I loved camping at Nora & Scott's place, the directions were clear and while the road did look a little like you were going into a scene from MAD Maxx once you got past the car art on the way in it was beautiful. Very clean grounds, clearly marked camp sites and available trash cans. I started my trip solo and felt so comfortable, the dogs gave me lots of love. When I arrived, Scott actually suggested that I move to Campsite #5 and I am SO GLAD I did. Beautiful views of the river, I was lulled to sleep by the waterfall, still close to the bathroom and had mostly shade. The luxury part of their spot is the fact that they have pretty much everything you could need in their community kitchen, a very clean bathroom and shower. Would 100% recommend.
