Camp Deb's Place
Great little piece of land with everything needed after long days of hiking. Deb was super accommodating and the stargazing was incredible. This will be my go to spot when visiting Joshua tree

Camp Deb's Place
We wish we had more time at Deb’s Place! The sites are lovely and she has seriously thought of every single detail. Towels in the shower, used paper/cardboard to help aid you starting a campfire, whipped cream for hot chocolate and cream for coffee in the fridge, the list goes on… We got a brief but thorough tour of the property when we arrived where she promptly put up some hammocks assuming correctly that the kids would enjoy them. While you are somewhat close to a main road, it didn’t bother us at all and it was very quiet at night. This is a great spot and we enjoyed seeing Deb’s ingenuity in all the little design and construction choices.

Camp Deb's Place
Deborah’s campsite exceeded my expectations! The bathroom is immaculate and very well stocked. The kitchen area with sink and counter space is spotless and great to use with your camping stove if it is very windy. The coffee shed was delightful and indulgent. The property is very well maintained with nice little decorative touches. I used my tent out her and it would be great for vans/campers as well. It’s a nice easy drive to town or the park. And 2 minutes away is The Great Rock Meeting Room that has excellent pizzas if you’re feeling lazy and not wanting to cook. This is a great spot if you haven’t done much camping before because it provides some nice little amenities. Deborah was very nice as well and takes pride in maintaining her place. I will definitely come back again next time I’m in JT 🤗

Schoolie Super Site
Amazing place to camp!
We absolutely could not recommended Debs place more. She is such a great host and also puts so much love and detail into her campsite. Everything is so well taken care of and so well put together. This is the second year in a row we have stayed here for my birthday and she even decorated our campsite with birthday decorations. Such a lovely lady and lovely place to camp. We will definitely be back soon!

Camp Deb's Place
Perfect Spot for New Campers!
This was the perfect campsite for my pregnant wife's first camping trip! We wanted to visit and hike in Joshua Tree National Park but the park's campsites were booked months out. We found this cute, rustic campsite just under a half an hour away from Joshua Tree, and it was the best decision we could have made! Deb is the nicest host. There are five campsites to choose from. We had the option to buy firewood and kindling for $10 a box. She has a cozy little cabin with free coffee, tea, and hot chocolate, a bathroom, a shower, a cooking area, a fridge, and a freezer. A perfect spot for your first time!
The first night was awesome. My wife and I slept through the night in our tent. There was a little noise from the road next to our tent but other than that, a perfect camp night. During the next night, however, the wind was extremely high, and Deb was so kind to offer us a stay inside one of the decked-out buses she had set up. It was a lifesaver! She provided us with lots of blankets and really anything we needed. We felt loved and well taken care of! The wind was strong but because we were in the buses under lots of covers we barely felt it. Oh, and our car battery died at one point, and Deb ran out with a battery charger for us. We got it started again in no time! We will definitely be back!

Camp Deb's Place
A campground worth gushing about!
This is a true gem in the desert. The individual camp sites are very large, so even if there is a group “next door,” you still have ample privacy. The covered outdoor kitchen is a godsend on blustery spring days, and as others have mentioned, it is very well supplied with assorted small electrical appliances, a gas bbq grill, and a huge cold water dishwashing sink. Deb also supplies kitchen towels, which is quite handy. Speaking of towels, there is a lovely hot water shower hut, fully stocked with bath towels, and (unlike park campgrounds) you don’t need to pay extra to use it. Deb is constantly cleaning and restocking the public areas, but she does so in a completely unobtrusive way. I realize I am now positively gushing about this place, but it really is that lovely. I highly, highly recommend this campground.
