Enjoy a leisurely walk, hike, or ride along the Cowichan Lake trail behind our property or simply take in the beauty of the sites pond and picnic for the day. We have 4 tent sites, 1 RV site, 1 camper-van site, shared bathroom, municipal water, fire-pit, and kitchenette area. There is also a seating area at the pond. Enjoy seeing what’s available at our small working hobby farm which includes animals, eggs, and fresh berries, fruits & vegetables. 15min. to Lake Cowichan or travel 5min. to Duncan, Saturday farmers market all year round & entertainment. Visit local wineries, breweries, & distilleries, Raptors bird Sanctuary, Hand of Man Museum, or many other sights! We’re also an easy drive away from Ladysmith, Cowichan Bay, Maple Bay, or the Trestle bridges. Only 1hr from Victoria or Nanaimo.

Stunning location, amazing hosts!
This beautiful farm was the perfect stop for us on our multi-day gravel ride. It has everything you need and nothing you don’t. Near enough to Duncan that you can pop in easily, but far enough that you feel remote. A wonderful array of animals, including a mini horse and a llama, you’ll settle in and never want to leave!

A sanctuary
Red Mill Farm was wonderful. A true sanctuary. Gary and Cindy were warm and very hospitable. Dolly, the alpaca, was adorable. We also got to commune with baby sheep. It was a beautiful way to spend the evening.

Gary and Cindy are truly the sweetest hosts! Their campsites were spacious and tranquil places to enjoy backyard camping and potentially meet some new people. The facilities are a great plus. I’m happy I was able to book this site :) thanks Gary and Cindy

Camping at its Finest!
Stop searching for your next space to camp!!! WE CAN NOT RECCOMMEND RED BELL FARM ENOUGH! Cindy & Gary have been more than accommodating. From the moment we were shown the property, we felt right at home. From a his & her's washroom, to a kitchenette and outdoor dining space/lounge area by the pond, (and if youre lucky a little pet & greet with Winnie the Miniature horse), we immediately rebooked as soon as we set up our tent night 1. Everything about the hosts, the property, and the area (close to all amenities) is more than you could ever need. Thank you for hosting! We love every minute here.
