Amazing open spaces
Jamie’s property was amazing! We pulled in late and the RV spot right off the road was extremely easy to pull in and set up. In the morning we explored the property. The waterfall was beautiful, and it was fun to see the horses. Jamie suggested we drive out to see the view behind the rental house on the property. It was beyond words. We also got to meet his father who was just lovely and shared other highlights of the area. We are so glad we got off the interstate to find this hidden gem! It was our first Hipcamp experience and we are sold!
Attentive host & beautiful land
This was our first hipcamp experience and we were very impressed! We needed a last minute place to stay and Jaime quickly responded to our inquiry. He came to meet us after we were settled in and offered help in the event we needed any. The land was beautiful with horses, rolling hills, and a waterfall on the property. We were parked close to the highway but even with that near, it was peaceful and perfect. We can't wait to go back, especially to stay on the upcoming secluded spots.
First time staying somewhere thru Hipcamp. Very enjoyable stay! Jamie was the perfect host. Was only a text way and answered all questions promptly.
Full hookup site that was large. Depending on where you park on site, may need longer hose for water & sewage. We stayed in our 31' Class A with towed vehicle and no issues maneuvering around site.
Jamie's property is large and we were invited to explore all including great waterfall!
This was our first time staying somewhere using Hipcamp and enjoyed the experience! The location is great and close to Natural Bridge State Park. Jaime was a great host, very accessible and great at communicating before and during our stay. The RV site is extremely large with plenty of room. The family was able to feed the horses and get plenty of pictures and memories along the way!
Enjoyed my stay at Jamie's. Located close to Red River Gorge which was my destination. The spot I stayed at was a nice open area that I had all to myself. The view was beautiful and it was nice to say good morning to the horses in the morning. :-) I also very much appreciated the level ground since I was camping in my Van. Will be back!
Great Spot! Beautiful scenery! We wish we could have stayed longer because we were just passing through. Jamie was was very nice and helpful and made sure we had everything we needed! Next time we are in the area we will stay longer to enjoy the beautiful land and horses!
Great site close to amazing sites!
First off Jaime is an amazing host. Very personable and eager to ensure a pleasurable stay. The RV site is great, level with full hook ups. As others mentioned it does face a semi-busy road but still way better than a jam packed state park or big private campground. Would certainly stay here again!
A great spot!
Our stay was great and Jamie was a perfect, hands-off host. He met us on arrival, helped me get our trailer situated on the site, shared some info on the local sites and we were off. There is a huge amount of land here to explore if you're so inclined and it's a short drive to some of the best State Parks in Kentucky.
The full hookup site is situated close to a house but other than some occasionally barking dogs we didn't even notice. The site itself is quite large and easy to pull or back into and loop around as needed. Properly wired and well maintained 30 and 50 amp electric, potable water with very respectable water pressure (~50psi) and a sewer hookup make this a great little launchpad for exploring nearby, hitting the parks or just staying indoors as a quiet home away from home.
