Cave Creek Campground

Resting on the shores of Rough River Lake, Cave Creek Campground is a water-lover’s delight! Tent and RV sites are just a stone’s throw from the lake and boat launch. Don’t have a boat? Pontoon, johnboat, and jet ski rentals available at the nearby marinas. The surrounding scenery ain’t so bad either. From the lake, there’s views of ancient sandstone, shale, and limestone cliffs. And didya know: the abundance of water in the area, both surface and underground, has carved through limestone to create a myriad of sinks and caverns, hence the campground’s name.
