These sites are within easy walking distance from parking ~ 100 Yards. The creek on our land runs wild at times of high rainfall and can be quite low in drought. People do jump in occasionally when the water is high. There is a lake not far from us, about 15 minutes drive, if real swimming and fishing is of interest. The camping sites are unimproved and can be a bit wild or tame as you choose. We kindly ask that all outdoor campers, backpackers and “Yurt-ers” bring their own water and camping supplies. Please only start fires in designated fire pits. During burn bans or drought periods all fires are prohibited. All fires must be COMPLETELY extinguished upon leaving the site. A composting outhouse is available. Also a  shovel is available and we ask that any waste you leave in the woods be "off trail" and well buried, including toilet paper. Insects spray is advised during tick and chigger season.

We absolutely loved our stay here. The yurt was amazing! The hosts were super nice and this place had awesome vibes. Lots of trails to explore, and at night it's quiet with only nature sounds. Would definitely go back

So glad you enjoyed the Yurt in the magic of the woods Lori. You are most welcome to visit again when the road leads out this way.

I LOVE The Light Center! Robin and all the care takers are amazingly friendly, helpful, and give you all the tips and tricks to have an great time. Go pick the black raspberries in the morning for fresh fruit in your breakfast then meditate with the hummingbirds in the garden across from the Creation Station.
The forest really is Enchanted :)
Odell will greet you as you drive in, he’s a sweetheart and just wants pet so make sure to stop and give the dog some love.
Whether you’re looking for a quiet getaway in nature as a couple, filled with walking and hiking trails; or needing to escape the city with your dog - this is the place to do it.

T.L.C is a very special place where the healing forces combine to fill the land with good energy. I’ll be going back for years to come.

Very serene place to camp with friendly people and quiet nights (as far as people noises go--still plenty of wildlife noises!) I wish my schedule had allowed more time to relax and wander the paths.

We actually didn't get to stay because we encountered some mishaps on the road and couldn't make it, but Robin was wonderful about it and even offered to let us stay a night for free next time! they're clearly lovely people, will stay eventually :')))

The host was super friendly and even wrote my name on a sign when for me to see when I entered. I thought that was really thoughtful and helpful. It was just a little walk through a dried up creek to our camp site and Gabby was nice enough to guide us to our spot. I didn’t use the shower but it seems to be a solar shower situation. The dogs we adorable and I would love to stay again, but maybe on a less rainy day since the wetness did attract a lot of bugs.

Remarkable find at the end of quiet roads, serenity and forest magic with a warm welcome. We camped in a circular glade with a fire pit in the middle, crickets and fire flies and the call of birds beyond.
If this weren’t so far away from the East Coast, we would be back next week. Thank you for a special sojourn on a cross-country road trip.
