What a nice place to stay, with super friendly hosts! Cool location away from the interstate but not too far, and a great peek at real farm land in Kansas. Great feel, garden veggies in season, and farm eggs!
Dian has a beautiful spot in Quinter and we enjoyed watching the lightning show (presumably no corn or sorghum were injured) at night. Our trailer managed the 4 mile county dirt road with no problem. My phone reception won’t let me post the photos of the sunset, unfortunately. We had a beautiful last night in Kansas and very much appreciated the fresh eggs and veggies gifted by Dian. She’s got a perfect spot and was very responsive. If we come this way again, we’ll be sure to stop again.
Hazels Heaven was a wonderful place to stay. The quiet, remote location was worth the drive. There were beautiful views. And the sunset and sunrise were beautiful. Dian & her friend, Gwen, were super helpful. We were greeted upon arrival and shown our site. All of our questions were answered. I would highly recommend this location.
What a wonderful time. So relaxing and tranqil. We needed that dian has a beautiful farm. She gave us eggs for breakfast and veggies from her garden. We would go back in a heartbeat. Lots to see in the area thats not in the tour books.
Beautiful and peaceful place to stop at on our trip across the country.
Dian was a wonderful host. She was very friendly and helpful. Asking if we had what we needed to settle in for the evening.
A nice breeze came across the fields while we sat outside and watched the clouds after a thunderstorm came through. It actually arrived at Hazels Heaven the same time as we did !
Dian was out in the rain with us as we set things up and got connected. She wanted to make sure we were comfortable and ok.
I highly recommend Hazels Heaven for camper or RV. Lots of green grassy places for tents too. And kids.
She has a lovely property to relax in. Check it out on your way through Kansas. It’s a little piece of Heaven 😊
Dian was a warm and welcoming host with a beautiful property tucked away in luscious farmland. The host greeted us upon arrival, helped direct us to the best spot to fit our needs, and ensured we had everything for a comfortable stay. Our kids (3 and 1) enjoyed playing in the grass, riding a bike around on the extended driveway, and checking out the chickens that graced us with the next morning's breakfast.
If you are self sustained (she has water and electric hookups), and you want to get away from the crowds, Hazel's Heaven is a delightful stop to unwind between travel days.
This was our first time using Hipcamp and the first voyage in our travel trailer and we are thrilled it was at Hazels Heaven. The location was the perfect distance from our starting point in Kansas City to stop for a peaceful nights sleep before heading to Colorado. Dian was an amazing host and helped us get parked and provided us with a dozen farm fresh eggs. The kids loved seeing the chickens and running laps around the garden and coops. We are already planning to stay again and arrive earlier so we can enjoy yards games and roast marshmallows. This will always be our first stop when heading west. Thank you Dian! 🙏❤️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
