If you book this, I will show you your options when you arrive. We actually have quite a selection of fun places but all are 50 - 200 ft. from parking. All have a private fire circle. I am pretty sure we will find a site you will enjoy. One tent and one vehicle for the base price. If you have a second tent or car, $5 per night for additional cars. Extra tent? Let me know- pricing depends on the number of people or site used. As this is severe weather season we have an emergency shelter in case of tornados. Not to alarm but so you know there is a safe place to go - it's Kansas ! LOL

This place was great, Darrel was really helpful and full of good local suggestions for food and things to do. You can hear some traffic noise from the highway but the campsites themselves feel very secluded which is just what we wanted.
Enchanted Oaks is a super cute little spot and very dog friendly. It’s an easy drive off highway 70, and there are plenty of campsites to chose from. My pup loved meeting and playing with other dog friends, and the other campers were very friendly as well. Darrel is also a great host, present and ready to help!
Best family get away
Best place ive ever stayed at. Been 3 times this past few months aready and I live 2 hours away. Super nice guy and pond is stocked of fish. No ticks or raccoons from all the times ive been. Just a great family place to camp all around.
The low point of my adventure.
The first night wasn’t bad mainly because I didn’t have to poop in the lavishly supplied 5 gal bucket. The tiki torch was nice and I didn’t have to build a fire, thank god I didn’t. I had a $5 bundle of wood from my last stop that was in the passenger front seat and removed it in the morning prior to going to the WW1 museum. When I finished my tour an irate text was waiting stating you have violated camp rules and to vacate immediately. I apologized to no avail and was told it is not discussable. “Leave you are not welcome here!” That senile bi-polar man is not a good representative for Hipcamp. I gave him $10 cash for firewood that I never got the chance to use and he absconded with my wood and kicked me out, WTF? I could have bagged it up prior to my day trip and I guess every thing would have been fine. What an ass.
What an incredible place to stop on a road trip! I'm a mom, flying solo with two grade-school kids. They loved the paddle boat and fish pond (huge frogs) and I loved the opportunity to talk to an adult. Darrel told me all about his plants, which are amazing.
This has been my second time at Enchanted Oaks and Darrel is the most welcoming, and inviting host. I've always felt safe being here and I love the pond and the trails around the property
Fun for families!
Our crew consisted of three families including a total of 10 kids! We reserved sites 1-4. We had more than enough space for tents, a cooking/relaxing zone, and two “secret hangouts” for the kids. The property is gorgeous and Darrel, the host, is friendly and available without being imposing. He was patient with our kiddos wild ways and many questions. He even led a gnome treasure hunt that ended in candy prizes! We enjoyed fishing, paddle boating, feeding the fish in the koi pond, and listening to the frogs :)
Darrel thought of everything. There were trash bins supplied, a picnic table, porta pots, extra life vests, firewood...and lots of fun facts!
The location is convenient and easy to spot. Being so, you can here some road noise at night, but it was not overbearing. Enchanted Oaks is a gem!
