All campsites are 50-150 feet apart. Enchanted Oaks: is like a small park. I live on 7 acres in the country, just 25 min. from downtown Kansas City on the Kansas side and 25 miles from Lawrence, and the University of Kansas. The property has forest, trails, a 1.5 acre fishing pond, paddle boat, picnic table and shelter. Very peaceful. Site #1 is for group camping and small RV's and has a private campfire circle, an area for larger groups or a secluded small tent area and a picnic table. Campfire wood provided for $8 per night. Purchase the fire bundle. DO NOT bring your own wood. We don't want new tree diseases. Fires allowed ONLY in the fire circles and only with express permission. Grass and forest fires are a concern if it gets dry. There is no electricity at the site, but is available at the shelter, about 200 ft. away. There is a community fire circle by the pond which anyone can use. One vehicle for the base price, one additional vehicle allowed for $5 per night. If you want more vehicles or tents, ask. Reduced price for second or third tent. We are near the Legends, T-Bones Baseball, Soccer, and NASCAR, as well as the Providence Amphitheater and Renaissance Festival. We are LGBTQI friendly and supportive. As this is severe weather season we have an emergency shelter in case of tornados. Not to alarm but so you know there is a safe place to go - it's Kansas ! LOL

Cozy, welcoming, great outdoors
Darrel was a great host, welcoming and friendly. Enchanted oaks is a great campsite. We had fun! I would pick another site # because site #1 is close to the road and cars are passing by, otherwise we definitely recommend!
Enchanted Oaks is everything it promises to be and more! Darrel, Barb and Amelia (their amazing dog) are absolutely gracious hosts who immediately make you feel like a welcomed part of their family.
Darrel was very friendly and great at communicating. His property was nice and quiet, but also very convenient. We’d definitely recommend to anyone in the area or anyone passing through.
More than we could’ve asked for
Darrel was great! He was very friendly and made our first camping experience a success. Everything was peaceful and the scenery was beautiful. We can’t wait to return!
The fire starter says yes!
We had a great experience and really enjoyed the stay. Only problem… Wish we could’ve stayed much longer. Definitely will be repeat visitors! Love Darrell’s evening wine tour, enthusiasm for life and humor.
This campsite was so cute and friendly. The host was very helpful and cheery, and it was very easy to find our site. There were mini trails nearby and even a pond, making this a perfect campsite for a small group.
This place is a gem waiting for your discovery... Darrell was a gracious host, despite our faux pas —driving past the posted warning that our lengthy trailer should stop for directions. The arduous turn around was a good lesson for us.
Enchanted Forest lives up to its name: lush and full of blossoms in bloom, large reflecting pond, & cherry trees ready for harvest. This is a great site for tents & small campers.
