Beloved Farms
My friends and I (6 of us in total) had a great time tent-camping at Beloved Farms. Whitney was a great host. She responded quickly to my messages and questions. She lives just across the road and came by to check in every so often (not in an overbearing way, just as a conscientious and friendly host).
The site was nice and spacious and allowed us to park our car close to our tents. Nice, large fire pit with good sitting rocks. Cute little pond down below, which you could set up your tent by if you wanted to.
The general store was closed for renovations when we were there in April 2024. (This wasn't mentioned on the listing before I reserved the site for our solar eclipse trip.) However, we were able to use the shelter when it was raining and utilize the bathrooms since there were no porta-potties.
15-minute drive to Santa Claus, which has a gas station with firewood.
The farm has some kind dogs that roamed about and approached us when we were cooking. They were quite shy, but they warmed up to us. There were also some cute goats and a pig in fenced areas.
It was a super nice spot for what we needed (proximity to the path of solar eclipse). We were sharing the property with at least two other groups, so it didn't feel super secluded, but it was quiet, rural, and peaceful.

Beloved Farms
Great spot!
Everything was great! Pretty place to camp and perfect for watching the eclipse. Wife loved the bathroom. Dogs loved the pond. My boys loved it all. What else is there to say. Good location. Good hosts.

Farm fun!
Whitney and her family were friendly and helpful! We caught lots of fish in their pond, enjoyed the fall festival at their farm store on Saturday, and did Holiday World on Sunday. Lots of good family memories! Thank you for a great weekend!

Beloved Farms
The weather got us on night 2 and we had to flee the premises as wind ans lightning lit up the sky. Our tent took damage, and the owners kindly moved it aside until we could return to retrieve things. The setting was beautiful and we hope to go back and visit with better weather soon.

We decided to try out Beloved Farms.
GLAD WE DID!
The kiddos wanted to do some camping and we needed something close to home.
The grounds were open and we were able to camp by the lake.
The kids caught a few bass and 1 crappie
The kindness we received was beyond amazing.
Beloved farms was nice enough to bring us a firepit and a picnic table.
which made the experience more enjoyable.
They offered hayrides,outdoor games,coffee, ice cream,even lunch specials on site!
We will be staying with Beloved farms again...(as soon as springtime hits)
But we'll have to stop by the store when we're in the area !
