Calder is a small town community with under 200 residence. Please be respectful to the neighbors. You'll be camping on the site where the original bar in Calder once sat. Calder's local watering hole is now 2 blocks away (2 min walk), with a restaurant for the hungry mans meals. 3 min down the way is the Cut Throat Resort and Bar. Jim has a trailer outside the Cut Throat where you can buy fresh eggs. Up stream is Avery who has a little pizza place for a warm cooked meal. Pull in, through or back into your full hook up RV site or pitch a tent in the grass under the willow. The St Joes river is directly across the frontage road for fishing and floating. Hunting available in the national forest. OHV trails welcome flank the river and go up into the mountains!Saint Maries is a 30 min drive, which will be the last stop you'll have cell service and supplies. The space is sitting right in ‘town’ which consists of about 20 houses or so. Near the river, at the base of the mountains with plenty of hiking. No one bothered us, however the dogs across the street continued to visit us.
The space itself was about as expected.

There is NO cell signal anywhere nearby so be sure to ask for the wifi info before arriving.
