Description

Because it’s located right off the highway, we’ll be the first to admit that this isn’t the quietest campground out there, but it’s just a stone’s throw from the North Fork Payette River for an abundance of whitewater adventures. Canyon Creek is a fantastic base camp for exploring the river, and there are scenic vistas along the canyon that are perfect for viewing wildlife. Whitefish and rainbow trout are abundant, and the sound of the river drowns out the highway so before long, you’ll forget all about it.
