One of a kind stay with friends!
A group of us stayed at A Wee Place, and had the best time being together in this special place. We had a progressive "happy hour" where we moved from one tree house to the next, and all contributed food to a group dinner in the outdoor dining area, enjoying each other's company around the fire into the night. Lynn and Terri were fantastic hosts and we felt privileged to be welcomed to their patch of woods.
What a unique and charming place! After reading all of the glowing reviews, I didn't think this place could live up to the hype, but it did. Since our stay was on a Tuesday in September, we happened to be the only guests there. The setting was magical and peaceful and tranquil and Lynn was such a gracious and welcoming host. Thank you Lynn!
This place is magic!!!
I would recommend staying at the wee place in the woods to anyone looking for something beautiful, unique, peaceful, magical, or just to be out in nature. Not only is the owls nest a wonderful tree house, you also have an outdoor kitchen to enjoy, a Labyrinth to walk, a craft area, firepit, the woods to explore, so many cool things!!! My family and friends had the best time and can't wait to go again!!! Lynn is an amazing host and a bright light in this world. When you are there don't forget to look for fairies-they live there too💙
Nestled in magical warmth
Imagine your childhood dream of a magical place in the woods and it actually being real. Lynn is a creator or goodness, artistic expression and bringing community together. In these woods, we woke to the sound of the creek below and a fresh breeze on our faces to greet us. You will find whimsical fairy and gnome villages made by guests everywhere in these woods, a gods eye forest, labyrinth with the most beautiful sounding gong, places to sit and relax everywhere, a viewing spot to watch the flying squirrels, hammocks, star gazing spots, badminton and darts and an abundance of games, treasure chests of crafts at the dance floor/covered area to hang out, a private open air outdoor loo, fully stocked outdoor kitchen, a large comfy fire pit, other treehouses, a sweet cabin with a pond, a kitten named George and Mama Kitty and the nicest people you will ever meet. We left feeling refreshed, grounded, loved. We got to spend the most amazing time together as a family and connecting with the other guests and Lynn. Here it is easy to just "be." We dont generally tend to want to visit the same place, but for sure we look forward to our next stay here again!
