Mac nut heaven!
Colin was great at communicating with us and providing instructions. We arrived after dark but he guided us to a flat area to park our van. The road up is a bit daunting at night but if you go slow it's definitely doable. We woke to find ourselves in a beautiful spot amongst the mac nut and avocado trees! The porta potty was a nice addition and tastefully incorporated. Be sure to check out the nearby Royal Hawaiian coffee farm which is just a few driveways over!

My hosts were really responsible and helpful. I felt supported arriving after dark. Their dogs are friendly, too. There is a pavilion under which to set up my tent, which was great. The ground may be a bit hard, but we're prepared for that for camping.
Colin and Susan were great and very accommodating. The land is way up the hill with plenty of grassy spots to pitch a tent. Only issue was noise that woke us up a lot with dogs barking and hunters coming up the road right next to our tent at 4am. I doubt this is a normal occurrence though.
We stayed on Colin's property in our camper van rental. We didn't need or use any amenities. Just parked next to the driveway when we arrived at night and left in the morning.
We arrived at night. Before we arrived, we got in touch with Colin and he gave thorough and clear directions. That helped a lot. Otherwise we surely would have gotten lost.
Took us about 15 minutes to get up the bumpy road from the highway.
Barebones but thats all you need. The ground was flat and the portapotty was close. There’s a pop up to set tent under. Do not skip out on buying honey from here. Host was cool and kind.
