Glamping at its finest! The yurts were beautifully put together and the bed was very comfortable. Amanda’s yurts have A/C and heat, shelves for your belongings, and they are really spacious! Amanda provided fire wood and she even dropped us off so we could canoe down the river! It was great having a bathroom and shower so close by and the access to the water was fantastic! She also has a super sweet dog that comes to hang out and loves to be loved on

We enjoyed that it was a short distance to the water. However our site was very close to other campers. The owners dog was friendly but jumped on the table and ate all of our hotdogs & left us without our dinner. The owner was kind enough to allow our 10 year old son to come although no kids were allowed. Friendly owner & great views along the river. Great hiking trails. Mixed feelings on if we would return.

I am so sorry that you did not have a great experience here. The 3 sites on that side of the property are 50-60 feet away from each other. I could have moved you to the other side of the property had I been aware that you weren't comfortable with the location. I would have happily replaced your dinner had I been made aware that Bella ate it.

We absolutely loved the Yurt and had an amazing time. Everything was kept clean and the showers and bathrooms were amazing to have. Bella the dog was great to have around as well. We would absolutely stay here again.

My girlfriends and I had an incredible and relaxing time at The Wandering Path! Couldn’t think of a better way to spend my 40th. We stayed two nights and it was nowhere near long enough. We relaxed on the sand bar and just took in the beauty that was surrounding us. The creek was cold and felt great on a hot day. The tents were large with plenty of room. Beds were clean and comfortable. Large fan was perfect to keep us cool at night. The bath house wasn’t quite ready, but that was no biggie for us. The Porto potty was clean and stocked. Bella and Romeo (Amanda’s dog and cat) greeted us with love and even hung around for a bit. Amanda couldn’t have been anymore attentive to our needs the entire stay. She was so welcoming and accommodating. We were even able to witness a beautifully sweet small wedding on the Sandbar during our stay. We had such a unique and wonderful stay at The Wandering Path! 10/10 would recommend! Will definitely be back!

The Wandering Path #2We brought some hanging lights to add to the ones that were already there. You can never have enough string lights. 😁The Wandering Path #2The Wandering Path #2

Had an amazing stay at Wandering Path on a chilly winter night on Valentine's Day. Amanda was extremely helpful even prior to our arrival by answering questions promptly and providing all the necessary details to make finding her property easy. She greeted us upon arrival and informed us there was a slight issue with our original reservation at Wandering Path #2. A previous camper had a spilled a drink in the tent and the rug required some deep cleaning and hadn't fully dried due to the cold. Though not at all a big deal as it was a small spot; she graciously took the time to show us the ins and outs of both #1 and #2 (which were very similar) and gave us the option to chose. Both sites were well equipped with all the necessities along with some cozy furnishings. We ended up chosing site #1 as we were the only campers staying on property for the evening and it was a little shorter of a walk to the restroom and the vehicle. We explored the property a little as Amanda had pointed out some hiking trails and the path to the crystal clear creek that runs through her land. We were amazed by the beauty of it all. We had brought a second space heater as it dropped into the 30s that night and had no issues. The next morning we were greeted by Bella, the resident pup and had a blast hanging out with her for a few minutes before heading back to the creek for more exploring. Will definitely be back to explore the creek in the summer when it's warmer!
