We only stayed one night to view a meteor shower and this was such a perfect location!
The grounds were well cared for. Pleanty of trees for shade but lots of massive clearings to view the stars. The sky was so full of stars.

The fire ring was great and John even provided firewood. We almost didn't need it, as we were able to collect enough Fallen branches from amongst the trees.
The paths are well laid out and ready to find even at night :) and there must have been a massive bullfrog in the stream judging by the sound he put off! I loved it.

Thank you for sharing this beautiful land with us, John. Would absolutely come back for more stargazing.

This area was really nice to stay. We had the whole place to ourselves which was nice. For that reason they let us pick our site. We picked the site that overlooked the field where we saw turkeys and deer. If there are other campers the sites are far enough apart not to bother each other. Very peaceful spot to camp. We will be back!

Me, my brothers, and several of our friends reserved all four campsites on John’s expansive and beautiful property! We spent Memorial Day Weekend on his 600-acre property celebrating my brother’s bachelor party and we had a blast. Everything exceeded expectations and John was super helpful and welcomed us with open arms. He set up a space for us far back in the property so it truly felt like we were alone in the woods. Huge widespread fields and towering mossy trees surrounded us without a lick of civilization in sight — just what we wanted! And yet, just two minutes away is a grocery store, a Circle K, a liquor store, and some other essential stops. So if you forget something, one of these places will surely have it. One afternoon we walked around all the trails John created and had such a fun time seeing all its features. It’s beautiful, John is great, and we highly recommend this Hipcamp to anyone looking for an isolated camping experience with lots of space and lots of natural beauty.

The host, John, went above and beyond anything my son and I could have hoped for. The property is amazing! Watching a sunset from our site was breathtaking. John's and his father's continued work on this property shows his love for this land and i understand why. Saw lots of wildlife while there...deer, bald eagle swooping down for a field mouse, and waking up to turkey 30ft from our tent was just awesome. We stayed for 2 nights and I wish we could have stayed 2 more. I have been camping in the area since I was a kid and I have never experienced anything like my son and I had this past weekend. John really took care of us, checked in on us while we were there, and brought us firewood for the time we spent there. I will never want to stay at a big "campground" again. John made our weekend trip more than we ever expected. Thanks John for all the help.

The property is beautiful and John T. is a great host. He was very kind, flexible, and accommodating. The site is a great option while exploring the national forest, great accessibility. There are other sites and a highway nearby to consider, however it does quiet down.

It was just what I needed and expected. Plenty of space, secluded, and clean. John couldn't have been more friendly, helpful, and accomadating. LOVE the land and the trails through it. My dog enjoyed the property and I love anywhere that lets me bring him along. We will definitely be back :)

Dog friendly and Beautiful views!
