This is a unique space because it is tucked away in the corner of 10 acres. This makes the perfect site for multi family camping adventures! Plenty of room for extended stays especially if you have family and friends in the area who want to join you for a weekend. Tent campers would be additional $20.

I would recommend Hipcamp Smokey Acres to anyone who is not looking for a great number of amenities, but is looking for a quiet place away from the madness of everyday life. The campsites are large and offer you lots of privacy and most are well shaded. If you are into fishing, there is a small pond with mostly catch and release action but a few bass were spotted. Plenty of hiking and biking trails nearby and hosts who were both friendly and informative. Be prepared for an adventure when you travel the driveway in as it is a tad on the rough side, but it certainly is worth the ride. Definitely looking forward to heading back for more hiking and some kayaking at nearby Weeki Wachee.
This was a great location, and there are only a few sites keeping things quiet. If you are looking for quiet and spacious, this is your place.
They are clearly working to make the restroom a bit more useful for guests, and they were certainly attentive to the issues we brought up while there. But be mindful, the toilet and shower facilities are pretty basic, and if the other guests are the campground are messy, expect to clean up after them.
We enjoyed a nice break away from the busyness of state parks, and this was a really nice location. But we certainly missed facilities that we were a bit more comfortable to use.
We'd live there if we could.
Beautiful, and quiet with electronic, sewer, water, showers, and firepit.... wood available. All fairly level. Would love to return. We've got a 24 fter so getting around was easy.
Great little hideaway
Awesome site...perfect if you want to just get away, other campers are a ways away so great privacy. Road is to get inis easy just go slow. Will come back again for sure!
Quiet location with full hookups
Very quiet setting, great for a weekend getaway. If you’re in an RV or towing a camper, take the incoming driveway slowly. The camping areas are spaced far apart, and they offer full hookups. During the weekend we stayed there we’re otter campers in travel trailers, and several tent campers. They have a bathhouse, and they offer firewood for a small donation. The location is close to shopping for items you may have forgotten to bring.
Beautiful, quite and peaceful! Such a great place! Loved all the wildlife we saw. Definitely will book qgain, adult kids live nearby. The short road in was a challenge for our class a, and jeep toad, but very doable. We just went very slow. Will recommend to others!! Thanks for your hospitality!!
Relaxing! spacious! going back!
Plenty of space between camp sites which was a plus. Not like your typical RV parks. Bill met us at the gate. Hillary was quick to respond to my inquiries. Quick drive from city life. Firewood on site for small donation. For what it's worth, already booked two more times since our first stay.
