Camp 21 Screen Pavilion
Escape from the City!
Jes and John’s Camp 21 is a fantastic little getaway! My wife and I spent the weekend there with our 2 pups and we all enjoyed the escape from the city noise. We ventured in from Jax and we’ll definitely be making a few more weekend trips with them. We really had no reason to leave the site, it was relaxing to just exist, but we did venture into downtown Madison (15 minute drive) which is really cool little downtown full of friendly people.

Such a special place!
My family and I had a fantastic time at this campsite! Even with a severe storm, our stuff stayed nice and dry. I’m so glad we booked this site since we would have canceled our trip if we were just tent camping. Not having to set up and break down tents was such a luxury. The beds (linens and pillows provided!) were comfy and great for our family of 3. I didn’t know what the camp toilet situation was going to be like but it was so convenient and we had plenty of privacy. The hosts put so much thought into the details! A sturdy wagon to cart your things from the car to the pavilion (I counted and the distance was about 40 steps from car to pavilion), camp lights, lighters and fat lighter, grill tools, potholders, a hand washing station, a covered eating area, two doors on the pavilion, you name it. The site was also very peaceful and no one else was nearby. We got so much bang for our buck! We can’t wait to go back. Jes was also super communicative and friendly over message. What great hosts! I’m so glad they were our introduction to using Hip Camp. This amazing campsite had us leaving feeling so spoiled. Thank you!!

Camp 21 Screen Pavilion
This place is very thoughtfully laid out! Stopped in on a road trip with my pup when I wasn't lugging tent gear and had everything I needed!! Bedding is comfy, grill and fire pit easy to use, and everything is lovely. Big rainstorm came the first night which was amazing on the tin roof.

Cozy camping in the rain
This was a great site, everything was so well labeled and the hosts include lots of little extras like toilet paper, fire starters, pot holders, etc. It absolutely poured the entire first night we were there and we were cozy and dry!

Camp 21 Site 50
Secluded getaway
Just spent the weekend here at site 50. Had a great experience that mirror what others have already stated in other reviews…Thoughtful amenities provided throughout the site, very large site that has parking, shower/toilet, picnic table, campfire, and the yurt. Lots of privacy at the site. The site next to us was vacant, so we can’t speak in terms of noise level from campers on the other side. The boat ramp for launching kayaks/canoes etc is less than a 1/4 mile from the site. Blue springs is about 8-10 min drive from the site. The only thing we would mention that future campers should be aware of is, the cots don’t really have support. There is a pad and blanket/pillow provided with the cots. However I’m 202lbs and I sank in and the support bars went into my back, causing us both tossing and turning all night. We slept better on the ground with our sleeping mats. The next thing is, be aware of the ticks and mosquitoes. It rained the first night and in the morning, YMMV. We used thermacell patio 15 ft repellent device and it kept mosquitoes away with no problem. You’ll enjoy the site and have plenty of privacy and relaxation during your stay. Will return for a future stay! Thanks for the thoughtful accommodations and a weekend of relaxation!

Camp 21 Site 50
Very thoughtful setup!
This site was such a gem! There were so many thoughtful details the owners put into setting up the yurt site, like a hand washing station with soap, sheets and blankets on the cots, a lantern inside the yurt, and a motion light on the path to the bathroom and fire pit! Everything was labeled with instructions too which made it easy. Just an fyi, the other yurt site is very close and you can definitely hear the other sites music and conversations to give you an idea of privacy. But the property is very secluded and down some dirt roads that you wouldn’t need 4 wheel drive for, unless maybe it rains heavily. Madison Blue Springs and Suwannee River State Parks are very close to the site and both were beautiful! I loved my stay and can’t wait to come back with some friends next time!
