Roomy and close to the beach.
Enjoyed staying in this beautiful spot. Very easy access and less than 30 min to both Flagler & Ormond Beaches.
Roxy was a very attentive host and offered suggestions on local attractions and eats.
They provided a power adapter to step down from 50-30 Amp and the water was clean and tasty.
Site was partially shaded but open and very clean.
We had a great time here, we had 50amp service and water (no sewer, but that's totally fine). There was a large field next to our spot our dogs loved running and playing in. We were about 20-30 minutes from Daytona and Flagler, but there was no noise from neighbors. We will definitely come back
Calm and comfortable, close enough to stuff to feel connected, but secluded enough to feel like your own private spot. Chickens and peacocks are a hoot, and gave our dogs something to watch for hours on end.
Water and electric at site. If there were a potty hookup we might still be there! Would recomend to all.
Stop in and enjoy
Great spot to be away from the hustle and bustle but close enough to hit the beach and local area. Awesome views of the stars as there is limited light pollution. Peacocks and guinea fowl roam around and are as curious as you are. Hosts are very kind and even let our kids feed their catfish! Definitely a spot to stop at.
Best kept secret!
This was our first time staying at a HipCamp property and honestly we were a bit skeptical using this service. Upon arrival, Roxie guided us in to our spot and she was extremely helpful and friendly! We got setup and she brought us some fresh eggs from her farm for free! We booked for two nights and the day we were to check out, it was raining so she offered for us to stay another day for free if our schedule could accommodate it so we wouldn't have to pack up our travel trailer in the rain. Unfortunately, we did have to leave but just the offer from her meant a lot. It was about 20 minutes to Daytona Beach and very easy access off of I-95. We will definitely be back to visit Roxie and her farm!
Roxie met me at the gate and guided me into the area. She allowed me to choose from two spots and suggested a place under the trees for a bit of shade.
I wasn’t aware that the electric service was 50amp and she was sweet enough to loan me a 50 amp adapter as I only had a 30. (The next thing on my list of purchases 😉).
I do not have a self contained RV and use a bucket system for waste: what a relief to discover there is a community park very nearby with restrooms to utilize for emptying as I was coming or going.
Such a short trip over to the beach, my friend and I made two trips; one to wiggle toes in the sand and a second to eat at a restaurant with great views.
Roxie offered us eggs from her hens and the had such beautiful yolks. It was fun to watch the fowl wander about: a variety of hens, a couple handsome roosters, peacocks and those crazy Guinea hens.
If you are able, consider going to the Bulow Sugar Mill Ruins state park nearby. It was so interesting.
Roxie was a great host and I would consider returning in the future.
Beautiful easter weekend.
We had a great time. Roxie was welcoming and accommodating and left us to enjoy our stay. Flagler beach is close and we enjoyed the restaurants and shopping nearby.
