If you stayed here and have some insider info for us, let us know!
Mosquito breeding ground. If you have kids the one plus is there is some green space for them to play in. However use lots of bug spray because its really bad. The “outdoor shower” is a garden hose, and the water does not get warm plus there are so many mosquitoes that well.... you get the issue. There is power and water but there is nothing else, The road noise is pretty bad for as “peaceful” as the site looks. Lots and lots of siren noise.
Stay was great and relaxing..thanku
It was a secluded and relaxing place..a little awkward in the beginning as far as thinking actual camp ground..but once there turn to be a place that was perfect and away from people and a ton of other campers..enjoyed our stay 100%..so would tell other people and friends and family about your establishment..thank you for having us
Private and hassle-free
We had a perfect weekend! We came with a group to go scalloping and brought kids, dogs, 3 campers and a large boat. We had plenty of space and shade. We had zero hassles; parking was wicked easy, hookups and water were wicked easy, and all within a few minutes of the boat ramp. Scenery was gorgeous. It's behind a cute antique store that blocks the main road and traffic noise. You drive behind thy building and it opens up to a clearing, with camp spots under the tree canopy with cute garden lights (and a chandelier!) The host, Brenda, communicated everything we needed, was pleasant and gave us plenty of privacy (though we bet she's fun!) We plan to come back next year with a bigger group!
Easy smooth stay
This was our first experience with Hipcamp and we were pleasantly impressed! We booked for the same evening since most rv parks were already closed. Brenda was very fast in responding and made it simple to check in. We sat outside and really enjoyed the evening outside! We will so this again!
Ok for a pass thru stay.
Good for a one night pass thru stay. For us too close to the road, you could hear all the traffic and did not feel like we “camping” for us. Close to springs if that is what you are after. Also not “fill hookup”, instead a shared sewer that is hard to get too.
Perfect location& beautiful setting
Brenda and her husband were super friendly and very helpful. The campsite was perfect - private, option for shade or sun, easy to access, and a short 15 minute drive to Crystal River. This was our second Hipcamp experience and we’re definitely hooked!
Spacious and lovely place.
Very nice and well kept site. Sitting behind a nice big main house made it secluded. The host waited for us and helped us in to the site. Love the chandelier on the big tree! Located on the edge of the city in a good way. A good night for stargazing.
Great little spot
Stayed for 2 nights, had a great time. Loved the outdoor shower. Site and amenities were nice, would def stay again. Brenda and her husband were very kind. And we loved the little dog!
