Nice secluded little spot. We had a blast. We werent looking for anything fancy, just wanted to get away for the weekend and this spot was perfect. Very close to all st augustine has to offer, but also very private.
Close to at Augustine beach and downtown area. Although the property was ehh. Grass was way overgrown. Horse poop everywhere. Fire ants everywhere as well. Didn’t use outdoor showers due to the distance and the swarm of mosquitoes that would follow. Port of potty on property was clean. I’d suggest your own pot. Gayle was at least responsive.
Magical horse farm
This is a truly magical place, and Gayle was such a great host. We stayed in the field, where we could watch the sun set behind the trees. She also gave us coffee and helped dry our belongings for us in the morning (it rained like crazy). Thanks so much for your hospitality Gayle, and we look forward to visiting you again someday soon :)
Gayle was super helpful and welcoming. The area had just received a ton of rain and i sent a note to Gayle asking if she would recommend a certain area of the pasture. In the short time after i sent my note she had gone out and walked the pasture and opened the gate. She gave suggestions and helped me find a nice space for the night. The sound of the horses and insects and birds made for a peaceful backdrop.
Gayle was so welcoming and even loaned us a couple things we forgot to pack. Nice pasture to make camp. We didn’t stay long enough to enjoy the fire pit she had set up, but overall it was a wonderful country setting not far from interstate for our camping road trip.
Quite, peaceful, secluded, tight
Quiet and peaceful very nice host. It was VERY VERY tight fit getting my 36ft bumper pull to the location. If you have a smaller set up youll be just fine. Its very close to st augustine and any needed amenities.
