This is a 16-acre family hobby farm. We have some goats and a donkey, as well as guinea fowl and chickens, so expect to hear some beautiful barnyard noises!

It is well forested and has a very private feel.

Caitlyn, was very helpful with quick response. We enjoyed the surroundings and have plenty of open space to explore.

Overall, this was a very peaceful trip. Caitlin and her husband were both very nice and made sure that we had what we needed. We didn’t need to contact her much, but when we did, she was very responsive. Plus, we had a whole field to ourselves that backed up near the woods. No one else was around us, but we could still hear signs of life (e.g. shooting practice, dogs barking, etc.) in the distance. They had restrooms but they were a bit of a hike (or drive) toward the house. Finally, there were ants and gnats but nothing too bad. Watching your step and creating a fire helped with that.

I put mixed feelings in terms of recommending Dewberry to a friend simply because there’s not much around to do. But if you’re looking for a place to just check out and relax, this is it.
