Nice spot for camping cleanest outhouse ever actually. Very soft ground easy to steak a tent. Nice shade from trees clean well maintained. Dogs and free roaming chickens were cute.
Brein was VERY accommodating! We had a malfunction with the tent we brought and she provided us with a extra tent she had! The bathroom on site was very clean.
this site is under 20 minutes away from both devils den and rainbow springs!
Such a gem
I wish I could find a spot like this everywhere I went! Somehow whatever you might want in a campsite. Lots of space, wonderful views all around the pond, sunshine and stars, trees of all kinds, lilypads and lotus flowers, farm and wild animals, space with twinkle lights and grills, fun mushroom and other endearing touches... Brein and her husband are the most down-to-earth and kind people who give you space but are also so refreshing to chat with. Location is also close to several different springs. Was sad I couldn’t stay longer and will return if I get the chance!!
We were greeted by Bree and she showed us the two spots to set up our RV with hookups which was a nice treat since we weren’t expecting that. We enjoyed our stay at the Mushroom Grove even though the weather wasn't cooperating with us. The RV site did require some leveling but that was no big deal, the host plans to put some gravel down which would be a nice added touch.
There are plenty of options to pitch a tent as well as a newly constructed outhouse with modern plumbing available. The site has lots of trees giving you plenty of shade and some gorgeous massive oak trees covered with moss and ferns to awe over. There's also a community pavilion right by the large pond to hang out and grills available for use.
Bree has a friendly neighbor with a few farm animals such as chickens, ducks, and pigs we were welcome to socialize with.
As we roamed the property, we started noticing all these cute little mushroom ornaments perfectly scattered along on the property, it quickly turned into a fun mushroom hunt to try to find them all.
This was a wonderful relaxing stay and we thoroughly enjoyed our time.
