RV camping in Yukon guide

Overview

Embark on an epic RV camping adventure in the rugged landscapes of the Yukon. Public RV campgrounds in the region typically operate from May to September, aligning with the summer’s midnight sun. On-site campgrounds at Kluane National Park offer outhouses, fire rings, and picnic tables, as well as RV campsites that fit travel trailers and motorhomes up to 30 feet in length. While there, hike King’s Throne Trail to a stunning alpine cirque. For a more remote experience, head to RV parks in Tombstone Territorial Park. Set along the iconic Dempster Highway, this on-site RV park is 110 kilometres away from the nearest town. Most RV campsites in the park do not offer full hookups, but some nearby private RV resorts may offer 50-amp hookups for big rigs with slide-outs. Wake up and navigate the "Edge of the Arctic" trail, spotting local wildlife like moose, caribou, and Arctic tern. For a waterfront campsite, head to Tagish Lake and park the motorhome near Tagish Bridge and the area’s boat launch.
