Come alone or bring your group to camp on our 95 acres of peace and quiet, on our off-grid property in Forest Hill. Campers must be self-contained, with their own camp toilet. We only accept one booking at a time, so you're guaranteed privacy and plenty of space. Note: There is no actual beach at Eddies Beach. Campers must be self-contained and leave no trace. The nearest dump point is the Tourist Information Centre on Albany Hwy, Mt Barker 19km away. Groups of up to 6 families (people who know each other) can be accommodated at any one time. As you are the only ones camping, you're welcome to make a bit of noise (music, generators etc). The rate is $32 for up to two adults, per night, $16 per extra adult per night, and any accompanying children (under 18) are free. Note: Please still add children to the booking, you will not be charged, but it's important we know numbers. Whilst the Hipcamp website considers children as anyone under 13 years of age, we consider them as anyone under 18, and are happy for you to create the booking accordingly. Campfires are permitted in the designated area only, provided conditions are suitable and there are no local fire bans. Firewood can be provided. Whilst any time is good for camping, we recommend trying to time your trip with the New Moon and Full Moon - the skies here are brilliant at night! Marvel at the Milky Way from your hammock, or see the countryside lit up at night by the full moon. Well-behaved, trained, socialised and fully vaccinated pets are welcome too. Telstra and Optus work in most areas. We have free WIFI. We are located 19km from Mt Barker, surrounded by local wineries, including West Cape Howe, Poachers Ridge, Arcadia and Gilberts. The property makes a great base camp for day trips to Denmark, Albany, Mt Barker, Stirling Ranges and the Porongurup Ranges. Meanwhile back at the ranch: Barista coffee and tea are available by arrangement. Saturday nights BYO drinks happy hour from 6pm on the back patio. Wood fired pizzas available by arrangement with 24 hours notice. Contact host for information. IMPORTANT: NO FIREARMS. NO SWIMMING IN DAMS. Be mindful, this is a working property. No entry to sheds without prior approval from management. The dams and streams are unfenced, care should be exercised around these areas especially with small children. Amateur radio operators welcome, low QRM. Throw up a wire and see how you go. For those campers who need extra sleeping arrangements for friends or family who wish to join your camp and don't have the ability to camp, we may be able to offer a solution. Speak to us directly when making the booking. We look forward to welcoming you. The property is new for camping and under continual improvement, so we would love your feedback. We are not a commercial campground. We have two (2) pet enclosures that measure approx. 1.8 x 4 mt, half enclosed with video surveillance so you can keep an eye on your pet from your phone while you enjoy the wineries, mountain climbing, national parks or just a day out by yourselves. The pet owner is required to provide bedding, water and food for the pet in the enclosure.Come alone or bring your group to camp on our 95 acres of peace and quiet, on our off-grid property in Forest Hill.  We only accept one booking at a time, so you're guaranteed privacy and plenty of space.  Note: There is no actual beach at Eddies Beach. Paradise!!! Ahh the serenity!!!
An absolute piece of paradise that is so peaceful and quiet. Roger and Valarie (and of course Eddie) are the perfect hosts who greeted us with an exceptionally warm welcome. After the formalities of the safety briefing and getting settled in, they proudly provide a guided tour of their property followed by Roger showing off his barista skills whilst enjoying a get to know each other chat. The best part of our stay at Eddies Beach Farm Stay was the exclusivity of only one booking at one time. Roger went above and beyond by organising a fire permit to allow us the opportunity to enjoy a campfire in their huge fire drum, it was greatly appreciated. Overall, we highly recommend a stay at Eddies Beach, it is the perfect getaway from the crowds, we’re already planning our next return visit! Thanks so much Roger and Valarie for sharing your piece of paradise with us, we absolutely loved it, very well done!!! 👍👍👍👌👌👌

This was a great base to explore Mt Barker and the Nat Parks in the region. Roger and Val were such great hosts which made staying here a real delight. It’s a great camp, but it’s the extra effort Roger and Val put in that is really appreciated. We were gifted fresh home grown passion fruit on arrival and some of Roger’s vanilla slice on departure! Great camp fire with heaps of wood. They went to a lot of effort with the information, first aid kits, first starters etc. But then gave us plenty of space for the stay. Overall a really a great stay and camp and the family really appreciated the hospitality.

We loved staying at Eddies beach and hope to return one day soon! Gorgeous, serene and relaxing. Birds in abundance and sheep meandering from dam to paddock. We were able to leave our dog in the pen whilst we explored the National parks. It was comforting to check in on her via the ring camera in the kennel. I'll see you soon for that cuppa Roger!

Wonderful long weekend at Eddie’s Beach. Perfect location to visit the region, Roger and Val were wonderful and they have set up the site amazingly. So peaceful with beautiful sunsets, my two dogs lived their best life exploring the paddocks, swimming in the dams and meeting the sheep.

What an enjoyable stay. Roger & Val are two beautiful people who go above & beyond to make sure you enjoy your stay. They are very welcoming & at the same time very respectful of your privacy. We camped next to the large campfire which unfortunately due to fire risk & ban could not use. We had views of the dam & open paddocks with sheep, kangaroos & birds all around us. We thoroughly enjoyed your friendship, stories & hospitality. Will definitely return.
