Zender camp is located in Deming and is surrounded by beautiful views of the Nooksack River, Kendall Creek and mountains. The Campsite has Kendall Creek on one side and the north fork of the of the Nooksack River on the other side. In the distance you can see White Mountain, Bald Mountain and Church Mountain. Fisherman will appreciate that the Kendall Fish Hatchery is a neighbor to our campsite and 3 C’s wedding and event venue is less than 1/4 mile away! Some of the many activities you might enjoy while staying here are fishing, eagle watching, hiking, camp fires, stargazing, and just being in nature to rejuvenate and relax. There are also many things to do nearby! We are less than a quarter mile from the North Fork brewery and 3 C’s wedding and event venue. We are 45 minutes from the Mount Baker ski Lodge and 9 miles away from the town of glacier.

Site 1

The perfect spot!

Heathers property is so beautiful! We had plenty of space between other camp sites which was awesome! The morning was refreshing and crisp and listening to the river was so peaceful! I can’t wait to reserve my spot for next year! Thank you Heather for being a wonderful host and answering all my questions!

Site 1

Really nice spot for camping. We stayed in Site 1 with easy access to the river, but might choose site 4 next time as that one is farthest from the road and maybe a bit quieter. As others have noted, very clean porta-potties! We really enjoyed the brew pub down the street, and the easy access to Mt. Baker hiking.

Big field camp site

I contacted the owner, Heather, if we are okay to arrive late at night as we were leaving 2-3pm from Battleground, WA which takes us 5+ hours to reach to the campsite. She said it's totally fine. We are heading to ranger station pretty early next morning. I was told that was fine, too. When we arrived, it was dark outside. We couldn't really see well. I knew there were 4 sites but none was there. We took one out of 4 sites. In the morning, it was Site #2 instead of booked one, #4. But I guess any one of them are same. We just slept one night and left early next morning. Toilet was clean. The well water...., We couldn't get any water after tried all the possible way we could operate. So we gave up.
