Green Pastures Getaway
We arrived at night and were a little confused as to where it was but the host responded quickly and we settled in no problem. Rain put a damper on our outdoor time but we’d definitely consider staying here again someday.

We loved this spot! The hammocks were so cozy and the walking trails through out the neighborhood were great for the dogs. Quiet neighborhood. We extended our stay by two nights because we loved it so much!

Lily was quick to respond to my questions, and friendly with her responses. My main concern was backing up my little travel trailer. I am not good at backing up and I emphasized this. I asked specific questions about the layout of the property and specifically asked when I got to the property would I have to back up from the street or would there be room to maneuver the car and trailer once I was at the site. She told me that the campsite was in a cul-de-sac, so I could maneuver into the spot from there. This was misleading. When I arrived I looked down the driveway of the site and it did look as if there was a gravel round about. I drove down only to find that it didn't make an entire circle. So I ended up getting stuck in a very awkward position and couldn't back the trailer up once there. I tried for over a half hour to maneuver the car and trailer back and forth but as I said, I am terrible at backing up so it went from bad to worse. I had to find a neighbor to help me (he was very kind to do so).
The site itself was quiet both nights. The photos are accurate if you are viewing that side of the site. The other sides of the site, however, have houses very close. The spot designated so you can use the electric hook-up was 10 ft or less from the side of a house. To the immediate right of the top of the short driveway there is a house that looks over the site. The town of Leavenworth is a 30 minute drive, not 15 as I was told.
