Our property is 60 acres of idyllic Pacific Northwest wilderness. Located just a few miles from the Columbia river, enjoy a private, serene valley all to yourself! There are many trails and forest to explore, along with a creek running through the property to cool off in during the summer. You might even be lucky enough to glimpse our local herd of elk that calls our small valley home, along with an assortment of other critters as well.

Camp in a Secluded Valley
Secluded camping
Beautiful little location very secluded and they provided lots of wood for camp fires. We really enjoyed that. The bathroom was also kept very clean and I had no complaints. The only thing I will say is I really hope the camp host can maybe try and control their dog better because it jumped on my car and scratched it badly on the driver side door, not once but three different times. I had to slow down multiple times because the dog will run up to your car and jump up. So I really hope the host can get a better handle on their dog. Other than that we had a great time.

Camp in a Secluded Valley
So good I don't want to tell anyone
What a beautiful piece of land! Very rural and quiet—we were so pleased to find the land lush and green even at the end of a hot summer. This spot (End of the Valley) is mostly shaded throughout the day with a healthy blast of sunshine midday. Private little trail to a small creek loaded with crawdads and young fish. Glorious old trees in every direction and yes, a top-notch composting toilet nearby. We never encountered other campers, we felt very isolated and it was just perfect in every way.

Camp in a Secluded Valley
A week would not be long enough.
The cool and shady creekside, I miss it already. The first thing I noticed was how peaceful it felt and how quiet it was. I could hear the creek. Amazing! I couldn't wait to set up camp and go explore. A perfect spot for our 5 mo. old puppers first campout She learned to "swim" in the creek and loved romping through the grass. It was wonderful to see her so full of joy; embracing her natural instincts as a Great Pyrenees/Lab mix; after a full day, lying regally guarding our camp. 2 of 4 spots were occupied but you needed to really listen hard to hear the neighbors. The expansive dark starry night sky rewarded my late night viewing by showing off with shooting stars. It's been too long since I have been able to look up in awe at our natural wonders. Thank you for arranging for the Bard owls to stop by and say hi as only they can..."Who cooks for you"...made me smile as I drifted off into a deep sleep.

Camp in a Secluded Valley
Beautiful place! Our dog loved running in the creek behind our campsite and we loved being away from the bustle for a moment. We didn’t see or hear the campers in the neighboring site; definitely a great spot that doesn’t feel crowded whatsoever!

Camp in a Secluded Valley
The landscape is beautiful and you are free to hike around the land if you want. Campsite was nice and flat, and the the new composting toilet was a plus. And the hosts were very friendly! Just make sure you bring some bug spray, the bugs came out in full force around sunset.
