Please message before booking to get a list of the requirements for winter months October 20th to April 1st. I had been searching for over 2 years for a property where I could make a difference in the environment and live in the wilderness. I was looking for water on a large tract of land that was remote. In 2017 I found the perfect property and to my dismay it had sold 2 days before I saw the listing. I was shocked because this was the perfect property. In my 2 years of searching I knew exactly what I wanted and this was the property. It had a private lake with fish. A solar cabin with a flush toilet and hot shower. The cabins 8 foot windows faced West for magical sunsets and view of the storms that roll in from the coast. It was beautifully treed with just the right amount of open meadow and forest with Hemlock, Ponderosa pine, and Larch. How could this property be sold? I tried to let it go but thought about it for the next year. After a year and a half had passed and my search continued I came across an advertisement for this magical property, it was up for sale again. I called the real estate agent immediately and found that an offer had been made but the buyers could not commit for 5 more months. I made an offer that day not really knowing how I was going to pull off the money. I knew this property was meant for me. I wrote the owner a letter explaining that I was a land steward and that this land would never be developed. I would be putting it in a land trust where no developers could put up condos. The owner happened to be a environmentally focused human and he ended up selling to me. Come to find out when I had first saw the property sold a year and a half before, that transaction had fallen through. The owner had just taken it off the market for the winter. You will absolutely love the magic of Nirvana Gardens. The quiet, the wild animals, the crystal clear lake, clean air, and relaxing healing atmosphere of the ultimate nature bath.

Toby Mill Cabin

1 site · Lodging200 acres · Loomis, WA
We’ve had this property in my family for over 30 years and it is been a potato farm, a cattle ranch, and a Lumber-mill site. We built our cabin from scratch from 47 tamarack large trees on our property. This is a very rustic and remote log cabin situated on 120 acres that is adjacent to DNR state land. It is primarily forested and teaming with wildlife. The cabin is about 4000 feet in elevation on Lemonasky Mountain just 1 mile below and an historical fire look-out. It is perched on top of a beautiful large meadow with a 50 mile view that has wonderful sunrises and sunsets.

The best camping near Conconully State Park guide

Overview

About

It's all about the water at Conconully. Two reservoirs create a fishing, swimming, and water sports paradise. Spend the day casting for bass and rainbow trout. Then, return to the family-friendly campground and enjoy games and campfires under the stars.

A 97-acre campground welcomes tents and RVs. Need more cover? Book one of the five cabins. Hookups are available, too.

With 5,400 feet of shoreline, the campground allows easy water access. Some sites are available to book early. Coming last-minute? Arrive early to get one of the first-come, first-served sites.

In the winter, the park turns into a snowy wonderland. Break out the snowshoes or skis and explore the forest on foot. Dogsledding is also a popular local activity.

Plus, since the park is right in the town of Conconully, it's a breeze to find cold-weather accommodation.

Notable campgrounds

  • Standard Campsites - Enjoy the simplicity of nature with these non-hookup sites, perfect for tent camping.
  • Partial Hookup Sites - Ideal for RVs, these sites offer some utilities for a comfortable stay in the wilderness.
  • Conconully Cabins - Nestled near the lower reservoir, these charming cabins offer a rustic yet comfortable retreat.

Tips for snagging a campsite
