The property features 150 acres of open flat grass with trees peppered around boundaries, and peaceful views of the mountains close by. We are located close to the township of Little River, made famous for movies that were produced here including Mad Max and The Dress Maker. We offer several campsites suited to self-contained campers who bring their own camping toilet/shower, and drinking water supply. Not too far from here you will find the You Yangs, which are the geological signature to Melbourne's western horizon. This low-lying mound of hills is a truly ancient upwelling of granite, having formed more than 350 million years ago. There are some great places here to explore, with options for mountain bike trails, horse-riding trails, orienteering areas, picnic grounds and even a nearby paint ball place! Your dog is welcome. Campfires permitted (when not in fireban season). Little River Camp
Dog friendly and relaxing
As a travelling couple with 2 Shepherd dogs, it was a winner to be allowed to have them run free. Far more relaxing. It's not fancy, no mici-msnsgers here (in fact we never saw sny host) but ideslling situated for us to visit Werribee & Feelong family. A number in the gate and a few signs would be helpful. My dogs were curious about the sheep and roos especially in the morning.

Beautiful camp w views ofyou yangs
Loved this camp spot. Beautiful views of the you yangs and sunset. We like that it was spread out so neighbour campers was not close to you. parvez was great with responding and flexibility. 15 mins to main supermarkets in Lara town. Loved that it wasn’t too far from cbd. We will be back.

Beautiful
Great massive area. Plenty of distance with other campers. I suggest you name the spot at have a little sign with the name at the gate. The instructions are clear and the GPS takes you to the beginning of the rough road.

Our experience was not great as firstly the access road is very heavily corrugated; secondly the gate was not signed and then directions provided were insufficient find the property. However the expansive views with the Melbourne skyline in the background and adjacent to the nature sanitary provided a beautiful location for stopping for the night in our van.

Late night Spirit of Tasmania
Quite handy as a option for spirit of Tasmania sailings. Beautiful to wake up in a nice location. The access road is quite corrugated but nothing to fear. We were in a 2WD van and it was absolutely fine.
