Our farm is rich in history, Red Coats traveled through the forests to the Hubbardton Battlefield, and is one of the original homesteads in Hubbardton. The farmhouse was built in approximately 1787 by one of the Hubbard Family Brothers.
We purchased the farm in 2020 and are working hard to restore it to a working farm.
Learn more about this land:
Tent camp on our farm with amazing views of Lake Bomoseeen, the Green Mountains, Taconic Mountains, & Adirondacks!
Started in 2020, Frog Hollow Farms is a no-till, sustainably focused 98 acre farm located in historic Hubbardton, VT. We focus on growing heirloom vegetables and raise heritage breed cows, sheep, goats & chickens. Our farm stand features fresh produce, freshly baked bread, & specialty foods like Maple Bourbon Apple Butter, Basil Syrup, freshly made marshmallows, & other small batch artisan items.
We have 3 campsites throughout the farm that are separated from each other, however, as this is a working farm, there is the chance of hikers and/or workers near your site. While we try to keep disturbances to a minimum, it is a possibility. Fire rings are at each site, but please let us start your fire for you, as we need to protect the forestland around us!
Grab a freshly baked muffin or scone for breakfast, or a sandwich or salad made by our Exec Chef and Co-Owner, perfect for a picnic lunch in the orchard, by the fire, or take it to go while you travel Vermont. We have hiking trail throughout our farm. We also host farm dinners & bonfires occasionally throughout the season.
Just around the corner is the historic Hubbardton Battlefield & Taconic Mountain Ramble State Park, Lake Bomoseen is a 10 minute drive.
We are 25 minutes from Rutland & Forty-five minutes from Killington, Pico.Tent camp on our farm with amazing views of Lake Bomoseeen, the Green Mountains, Taconic Mountains, & Adirondacks!
