Go camping near Woodland, a central hub for Utah’s most popular state parks.
Less than 30 minutes from popular Utah state parks, Woodland campgrounds are a winter and summer wonderland for campers heading to the area. Set up at an RV park in town with electric hookups, bathrooms, on-site swimming pools, and access to Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest for canoe trips down Provo River. East of Woodland, campers can boat and paddleboard on Jordanelle Reservoir at Jordanelle State Park. Private pet-friendly campsites surround the reservoir and offer spacious pull-thru spots for motorhomes with water and electric hookups. Tent campers can stay at dispersed camping areas throughout the park, while glampers may want to reserve a yurt with a firepit. Wasatch Mountain State Park is another enjoyable site for glamping trips at on-site cottage rentals near Soldier Hollow, the 2002 Olympic winter venue. Renowned golf courses, horseback-riding trails, and skiing hills reside in the park, as well. RVers and tent campers are also welcome at state-park campgrounds with full hookups, firepits, picnic tables, and potable water.
