Red Desert RV Park has expanded to 55 full hookup RV sites along with 14 cabins. We are geared towards outdoor adventurists and sightseers wanting a cost-effective stay while taking advantage of everything Moab has to offer! We are locally owned by a family of 8 and love calling Moab our home. We understand the corporate overtaking that Moab has had in the last 5 years and plan to keep our campground affordably priced and locally owned. We have upgraded the old site plan from 7 RV sites to 55 Full Service RV sites this year. Most sites are pull through but we will have some back-ins. We are finishing a new bathhouse that will have a laundry, women's bathrooms and showers, men's bathrooms and showers, and an ADA compliant family style bathroom. In addition to the new bathhouse, we will have a new office and retail store building to add souvenirs, RV supplies, snacks, drinks, and other necessities for guests. We do not currently have propane fill on site but are trying to add this later this year. We know that there are many options to choose from when it comes to staying in Moab. We urge people to support locally owned businesses that help Moab grow and solve problems that exist in our community. Moab is a recreation mecca with something for everyone and our little campground on the south end of the valley puts you within minutes of town, the mountains, and the red deserts around Moab.

Great site just not for tents...
My wife and I camped here in a tent so please bare that in mind with regards to my review. I'm looking at this place from someone considering using a tent here. Positives: Staff seem very nice and were helpful. Great clean shower and toilet facilities, they are brand new and super nice. Easy to find the site as it's right off the main road into Moab. Check-in was super easy and able to locate our camp site without meeting anyone. Electric hook-up was working well. Negatives: The ground in which your tent is on is full of rocks. I busted about 6 tent stakes trying to secure the tent down in the gravel. As mentioned this site is on the main road which means all day and night you feel like your tent is being run over by trucks and cars. The trucks do not stop and some are using engine break as they go past. They are extreamly loud and if you have a tent you will probally struggle to sleep like we did. There is no wind protection for your tent site which means if its windy you will feel the full force of the wind. The wifi is ok at best and its unlikely you will be able to use it whilst in your tent. To sum it up. I can't reccomend anyone stay here with a tent. Even with perfect weather the noise from the main is too much and not worth losing a day of your holiday over. If you have an RV, camper or caravan I'm sure the experiance would be a lot different and more positive.

RV02) RV Site - Pull Through
Had everything you could imagine! The showers and toilets were honestly one of the best we’ve seen on our trip. Had all the amenities and a beautiful backdrop.

Ideal for RV camper, not tents
Hostess at the front desk was very nice. I can see the vision of what this place will be, but it’s not there yet. Brand new RV park still in renovation. Building equipment is scattered throughout the park. Not recommended for tent campers - the sites are backed up right up against the only highway going in and out of Moab.

RV05) RV Site - Pull Through
Great place, brand new.
When we arrived we found that the construction of the site has just been completed. So everything was new and I believe that we were the first to take a shower in their new installation. The owner was very friendly and took the time to provide all the information we needed. Many thanks!!!!

A nice quiet little park. It a nice place to land for a few nights & I’m excited to see what it looks like when the construction is completed!
