The Texas Music River Ranch is 111 acres located in the quaint village of Webberville, Texas, only 20 miles east of downtown Austin. The large oak and pecan trees amid the rolling green hills of this gorgeous ranch land are nestled on the banks of the lazy Colorado River. Swim, kayak, or canoe...but there’s no better way to beat the legendary Texas heat than by grabbing an inner tube and enjoying a calm, steady float along a river known for an abundance of fossils and its wildlife. Bring your own tubes, kayaks and canoes, we are currently replenishing our inventory. Or perhaps you prefer to fish the shady tree-lined banks. Either way, you'll see a variety of birds while you relax on or beside the cool waters of the Colorado River. We're kid and dog friendly and we love musicians. Bring an instrument and join us for an impromptu jam session in our special events room or around the campfire. Cook dinner on our BBQ pit. Firewood is available onsite A few rules... 1. Just far enough, yet convenient.
Great site alongside the Colorado River. However, I actually set up at site #4. It wasn't until after I had everything in place did I discover a marker buried in the grass indicating my mistake. Fortunately, Phoenix greeted me at the site and ensured me I was okay to stay put. Perfect spot to doze off for a nap in my hammock and a short stroll to access the river. I will definitely be back to camp here again! 😎

Campsite 10
Off-leash, peaceful getaway
My wife and I spent the weekend on campsite 10 with our bordercollie puppie. We all loved our time kicking ball and just chilling. Our dog was allowed off-leash and had plenty of space to patrol while we had BBQ. The owners are very friendly and were easy to message/call whenever we needed assistance. The campsite is neat, shaded and right next to the river. You do need to drop down a small hill to get to the river from campsite 10 but a short walk up stream will get you to a tree rope swing and easier access to the water. We will definitely be back for a quick weekend break!

Campsite 6
I’ve stayed here before and really enjoyed the experience. The campsites are close to the water, have picnic tables, and fire rings. The first bundle of wood is free. They will sell you more, but we brought our own. This time around things were pretty quiet, with the exception of some far away gunshots. They were definitely not on the property and I did not feel unsafe. However, the porta potties were disgusting this visit. There was no toilet paper in any of them, and they had obviously not been emptied in a very long time. One of them looked like feces had been smeared on the wall. There was also quite a lot of unmowed, high grass. I really like the place overall. And it is kind of the beginning of the busy season, so maybe they’re still working on getting things ready. I will probably return to give them another try.

It’s the best
I left feeling so so happy. This place was exactly what I needed. Love that’s so close to Austin. Love the beautiful view of the river. Love the vast green grasses. Even more, the hosts were just fantastic. They went the extra mile to welcome me (literally… she drove to the gate so I could follow her in). And when my car battery died, they were there right away to help me with a kind and generous tone. My dog loved it all the same! Definitely returning.

DO NOT BOOK
I had an absolutely terrible experience at this campsite! The host never answered any of my calls, I tried several times, the host was nowhere to be found in the grounds, no one was there to greet us to show us where anything was. We were told we would have fire starters to start off our campfire which wasn’t true, there was nothing and no one was on the campgrounds to ask for help! The garbage was completely overflowed and the portable toilets were unusable and filled to the top! To make things even worse we felt 100% unsafe as there were gunshots echoing throughout the campsite from 6pm until 2am which we then decided to leave the site as we felt unsafe with wild rabid stray dogs on the site as well! I am demanding a refund! I’m Highly disappointed with my experience!
