We have 16 cabins, a central recreational area and 600' of private riverfront. No crossing the highway to access the river! Great stretch of river for fishing, swimming, kayaking and relaxing. My great grandfather built the original "Camp Waltonia" as a primitive fishing camp with only camp sites, a dining hall and bath house. He wanted to share his love of the outdoors. Over the years, cabins were added, and the dining hall became the main house/office. Some cabins are original 1920s and 1930s, others were built in the 1990s. We have one brand new cabin that was completed June 2023. Most cabins have HVAC, BBQ grill, picnic table and screened-in front porch with porch swing and dining table. The wells are shallow, spring fed, and sweet with limestone, so bring your favorite tea or coffee. And a hat! The river is flowing well, but due to the severe drought, a bun ban is in effect.
