Kaz always had a DREAM to help kids with Life Skills & Mentor in God’s Principles because she had Christian Mentors growing up! They were always there for her through her life & kept her focused down the right path & stayed out of trouble & learned a tremendous amount from them! Bill her husband supports her & they raised 7 children together & have 8 grandkids. Katz father was Aspergers Autistic and from 5 years old started showing Kaz hands on learning skills that are still instilled in her today! She found this to be a Valuable Lesson from her Dad. These methods & skills through the years working with her own children & other children through the years with different organizations

beneficial and encouraging for the children growing up. Bill & Kaz have shared equally through all they’re projects during they’re 40 years of marriage. They’re Jack Of All Trades, Artists, Shown in Art Shows, Remodeled Homes, Churches, & Etc. Discover our exquisite Glampground just 10 miles west of Lampasas, uniquely situated in the elevated terrain of the Colorado River drainage. Our charming Glampground comprises a single secluded Glamp site equipped with a large tent, an additional pop-up tent, Loo, camp shower, grill, picnic table, dry storage, access to well water, and solar lights. Additionally, we offer an RV for rent with available electricity and water, along with Ten dry tent sites featuring access to a community bathroom with a shower and some nearby electricity options. We happily welcome pets, provided they are kept on a leash. Each individual tent site location has a trashcan, Loo, portable camping toilet/tent, grill for campfires and cooking and picnic table.
Situated on-site are over 100 undeveloped acres boasting numerous hiking trails, ideal for mountain biking or a serene walk amidst abundant wildlife, including trophy Whitetail Deer, Turkey, Armadillos, Hawks, and other captivating wild birds. We also offer an easy pull through driveway loop for RVs. The town of Lampasas is a 10 minute drive that offer all the amenities that you would need. Welcome to our Ranch! We are a homesteading family with space to spare. We currently raise chickens and dairy goats on the farm. We also have neighboring sheep and cows that visit from time to time.
Our ranch is 18 acres and includes a few stock ponds depending on the amount of rain we have received one even has catfish for catch and release. We have tons of wildflowers in the spring and even a few bluebonnets!. At night the clear sky lend to AMAZING stargazing with very little light pollution.
My kids are homeschooled so they are always around to help out or play if you have kids camping with you!
We are an hour drive from Austin, close to Lake Travis and Lake Buchanan.

At the time of this update (September 2023) We have 10 spots available with standard primitive camping as well as Tent camping without generators. We are discussing amenities at this time and will update the description as amenities are confirmed. The price may change as amenities are added however if you have already booked the price at time of booking will be honored for you.

Sit underneath our giant 600+ year old Live Oaks and imagine all the settlers and Native Americans who stopped in the shade here along the banks of The Colorado River.
We have 140 acres of land to explore. Old pecan orchards, cattle pens, open fields, giant trees and half a mile of the Colorado River to access. While visiting you can expect to see and experience native flora and wildlife. Don't forget your binoculars!
People enjoy flying kites, picnicking, camping, hiking, nature study, radio controlled devices, rock hounding (surface hunting only, no digging allowed), fishing, kayaking, swimming or wading in the water( depth of water varies and may drop off without warning, rocks are also underwater and not visible at all times), observing ranch work, riding bicycles or hoverboards, feeding our cattle and goats (only our special "cookies" or approved foods please), walking their leashed pets, collecting firewood to burn, sitting around our communal fire pit and stargazing while checking out the visible Milky Way.
Escanaba Bend is a fully operating and working cattle ranch. We raise our livestock kindly from birth thru end of life, with the goal of producing happy, healthy and natural beef cattle.

*NO personal/ composting toilets. use only the porta potties provided by us.
*all river, tank, water use is at your own risk including but not limited to, swimming, kayaking, wading, floating, fishing...
* surface hunting for rocks only ( NO DIGGING ALLOWED EVER )
*by TX state law you should obtain a fishing license for any public or private waterways to fish, except where legal to fish without one in TX State Parks.
