We have an acre of land in the Vermont countryside that is just off a country road tucked away and surrounded by trees. Our tiny house, primarily made from recycled materials and totally off the grid, is a great way to get away from the world and all the hustle and bustle of modern life. Learn how to be resourceful and use solar power, rain catchment, and a compost toilet while you are one with nature. You will be basically camping with a hot shower, beds, cookstove, and a fireplace. There are many hiking and biking trails nearby, waterholes and lakes, and of course you are within a half hour drive of Jay Peak resort and four minutes from Lake Carmi State Park. Cell reception is limited in this area of Vermont. There is no internet access in the property as well. There is a town 7 miles away with most of the basic necessities of life. MInimum stay is three nights. Our campsite is the ideal location and tiny house off grid living with deck and outdoor patio set, grill, kitchen, solar power, rain catchment system for showering with hot water, queen bed in loft with twin couch bed on main floor, and tv with Blu-ray player. Enjoy hiking, biking and swimming at local rivers, lakes.

Vermonts Rustic Tiny Home-off grid
This place was great! I loved the solar power and rain catchment system it has. And there was a cute little babbling brook just beyond a couple trees that I could hear at night up in the loft with the window open. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with cookware, dishes, spices and even a French press. Jill and Rafa were wonderful hosts and made sure I had everything I needed yet gave me privacy. Would definitely recommend.
