A welcome stop off of I 10
This location is a little mixed. It functioned well for what we needed and was a very welcome stop in a location without many options for a while, as the listing says. For that, thanks very much for the option. We went through this part of Texas during a VERY windy two days. We actually debated if we should even stay because the winds whipping through were moving our rig all over the place, and it didn't have any protection. But, there wouldn't be any other options for a while, and may have been just as bad any place else we could have found.
We didn't use the water, so I can't speak to that. The 30 amp power tested out fine according to my surge protector and gave us power all night as expected. The location is the last lot in a pretty sparse area already. We saw zero people except one or two cars that drove by. But again, the wind was absolutely crazy. I wouldn't have been outside if I could avoid it.
The breaker switches for the various plugs are in a larger breaker box panel right there with all the plugs. You just have to look, and they are well labeled (Top 30 amp, bottom 30 amp, etc)

Just what we needed for a quick overnight to break up a long drive. The site description and directions were spot on. Really easy to find and hookup water and electric.

50AMP RV SITE
Exactly as described. Right off the highway, private, easy to find (follow to the hosts instructions when you get off the highway, not gps), pretty views. There is electric & water and it’s flat & easy to maneuver. I would recommend to anyone needing a stop over.

James Michael is very up front in his saying his campground is not like most others. It is a field that has two electrical junction boxes--one 30 amp and one 50. There was a water faucet and hose if water was needed. I knew exactly what I was getting so there were no surprises. It was close enough to the highway to have easy access but far enough away so there was no traffic noise. Perfect for an over night stay.

A Comfy and Affordable Gem
Really nice grassy patch to set up camp for the night! Also a hidden treasure of an area. I loved this spot!
I really appreciated people like James setting up space like this at such an affordable price.
I’m a single guy on the road in search of a new city to live in. Something I couldn’t afford to do if it weren’t for affordable camping! So thanks for being a support on my journey 🙏
