Guadalupe River Rentals Riverside RV campground is the perfect home base for exploring beautiful Hill Country, Texas. Just 34 miles away you can visit the LBJ Ranch. This is a living memorial to the 36th president of the United States. This is the home of the Texas White House, so named because Lyndon B. Johnson spent 20 percent of his presidency there. When the weight of the office became too much to bear, he retreated to this ranch to escape the rigors of Washington. You and your family have plenty of things to do here to escape the rigors of your own lives. Johnson's boyhood home contains artifacts from his childhood, including a baseball glove and ball. The president loved cars. You can view a 1915 fire truck, 1934 Ford Phaeton and a rare Amphicar, a car designed to travel on land and water. He also owned a Jolly 500 Ghia, a gift from the owner of Fiat. There's even that era's Air Force One, the plane Johnson used to get to the ranch. Pets are allowed. Please make sure you pick up after them.

Site 3 - Riverside RV Campground

RV Spot

Location is awesome. Not a campground. More of The site is very nice and well maintained. Has shared use space that is very cool. Great access to bike trails and town Only downside the neighbor’s have yapping dogs and a rooster, i perceive this to be a passive aggressive move. This does not overshadow that this is a great spot for what is it’s intended purpose

Nice spot

Cool little spot. Enjoyed it. I'll be back for sure. Definitely need to back in from the beginning. My 42 footer was a tough u turn once inside the lot

Site 2 - Riverside RV Campground

Unlit, not met , no phone response

We unfortunately arrived after dark and the entrance to a parking lot was unlit and confusing , set in a neighborhood. The River access is across the street , again, confusing. No table. The spaces were hard to define. Was told by text we would be met by the host and to call for ANYTHING. We were NOT met by anyone, we called twice, had to leave a message . Was just were unsure we were in the correct place. We never received a response. For $57, don’t feel it was worth it at all.

Site 1 - Riverside RV Campground

Not as shown in the photos

The pictures make it seem like you are camping directly by the riverside: this is actually the water access across a street from the actual campsite, which is a few pads in a parking lot next to some trailer homes, a dumpster, and lots of barking dogs around. The only picture of the campsite is taken at night and doesn't really give an impression of where you'd be hanging out. This was not our idea of a getaway camping experience. We left.

Site 2 - Riverside RV Campground

All I can say is AMAZING!

What a perfect lil spot! We enjoyed this lil rv spot so very much! It's quiet and private just the way we like it. The spaces are clean and kept and they offer all the hookups needed for a comfortable stay and wifi worked well also. The cherry on top is the river spot. They put a lot of hard work in providing an amazing river spot with an outdoor kitchen, patio and deck area. They also offer the use of their kayaks. So please if you visit this gem of a place, put kayaks and toys back on the rack and clean up after yourselves so that we all can enjoy this beautiful lil spot and toys for years to come. We'll definitely making this a regular on the calendar.

River Front Relaxation

Wonderful location with a nice level location for your RV. The River is just steps away and is a great location to relax, fish, swim, or have a nice cold adult beverage. Would recommend!
