Great stay, great host
Dorian is great to work with and very responsive. We had issues with making out planned reservation and he was great with working with us, even offered full refund. The stay is great it’s on a large exotic ranch/neighborhood. Would recommend!

Camping with two corgis!
Really enjoyed my time there. Super quiet, easy to get my 36 foot trailer in to, and great water access. Took my two dogs and they loved seeing all the random wild game that was around the property.

Camping with Kids
We loved camping on this property with our RV. There were tons of easy hiking trails that were kid and dog friendly! The Lampasas River was a short easy drive from our camp site and was absolutely amazing. There were amazing lookouts on many of the trails with gorgeous views and we really enjoyed seeing so many of the exotic animals. We also ran into the goat herd that wanders the property. There is a big game feeder just a short walk up the road from the site and we brought our camp chairs and set them up a little ways across the road so we could watch the animals come in around dusk for feed. We also brought our bikes and there are a is a nice trail we found that was bike friendly and the road is also bike friendly with very little traffic. This morning we did an epic Easter egg Hunt for our kids down one one of the trails and around the property. Our 24ft camper fit comfortably on site 1 and we were easily able to get into it with our SUV towing and did not need 4-wheel drive. Site 2 is smaller and the trail is a bit rougher so when we book that site in the future we would bring our truck. Site 2 has a better view but is a tighter fit and less level than site 1. If it rains, I could see needing 4-wheel to get out of site 2. If you bring kids I recommend printing out a couple nature scavenger hunts, our kids had a blast doing them. Overall, we absolutely loved our stay here, it was so quiet and serene and very relaxing.

Nice getaway
Overall we had a great experience, however the other campsite was within view which took away some of the privacy. It was really cool to see all the different exotics. Campsite 2 is definitely the more secluded site between the two that are available. Also be prepared for the heat! Was a much more of a hike to the river than expected and we couldn’t find a cut trail so it was a bit of a treacherous hike. Wouldn’t recommend the hike for small children and elderly as we are in our 20s in decent shape and we were struggling.
