Our campsites are on the head waters of the West prong of the Frio River. Our Grapevine Springs have continuous flow the year round. You will enjoy the gurgling creek, hiking, swimming, solitude and our sunrises and sunsets, and big and bright stars in the night sky. We have tall hills and hardwood trees, Spanish oaks, Escarpment Cherry, Black walnut, live oaks and other oaks. We have wild animals; white tail deer, turkey, hogs and exotics and seasonally songbirds and butterflies on the ranch. We are close to Lost Maples State Nature Area and Garner State Park.**Make sure your vehicle has plenty of clearance. Truck or SUV work great**

As our topo map shows we have a wide variety of terrain ranging from steep cliffs with huge views to shady canyons. The river cuts through the middle of the place and is surrounded by four hills that each have their unique characteristics ranging from flat oak-covered to rocky steep ridges. I guarantee you will find beauty all around.
We do have a couple of fun areas to try your 4-wheel drive out.

Camp Cold Springs is a newly renovated RV park situated on 14 acres along the Frio river with approximately 450 feet of Frio river frontage. Located 2 miles north of Garner State Park at 1101 Cold Spring Ranch Rd Concan, TX, we offer 50 full hookup RV sites with 30 and 50-amp connections available at every site. We have pull-through and back-in sites that either live in the shade or soak up the sun. There are two private river access points on the property for guests that lead you down to the cool, refreshing, gorgeous Frio River. Alongside the river, you will notice our spring-fed pond where many of our junior campers enjoy fishing. The river frontage at Camp Cold Springs is perfect for all ages with easy access walking down to the river. We have a large, generally flat, shallow area that is great for little ones to roam around or guests that enjoy lounging in the refreshing Frio waters. The rock island is enjoyed by our more adventurous guests that like to take an aerial approach into the river, while on the southern part of our river, guests enjoy the 2-4 foot deep swimming areas of the river. Camp Cold Springs is pet-friendly and has amenities such as a bathhouse, an office with a store, a basketball court, a volleyball court, and other lawn games.

Star Gazers welcome. Secluded riverfront cabin and multiple tent camping area on 1.8 acres. Cabin is 20 X 20, sleeps two air mattress's with toilet and outdoor shower. Several areas to set up tents and enjoy the river without the distractions of electricity or cell phones (ATT may have some service). Open air cabin is screened in to avoid natural animals but a nice breeze blows off the river which will keep you cool at night. 125 feet to the beautiful Frio River from the campsite. Enjoy walks in the morning, camp cooking, star gazing at night, a Bar-B-Que pit is provided and enjoy a fire in the fire pit. A rope swing is just minutes up river.
