Creature comforts
Enjoy the comforts of home at some sites—including flush toilets, showers, and a kitchen.
Enjoy some privacy just 35 minutes from Loveless Cafe' in Nashville. The 48 acre campground is almost all woods and access to trails on about 35 acres. More trails are coming. There is about a 1/2 acre of field to park in between the road and the creek if you don't have an off road vehicle. Mother Nature has a lot to offer when you cross the creek into the first two campsites that are on the 30' creek. One big spring runs through the middle of the 2 sites with small cascading waterfalls. Both sites have string lights and 120V extension cords. These two sites are right next to each other so if you have another couple that wants to join you these two spots are perfect. Expand the pictures to a full screen as you scroll so the description will show up at the bottom of the picture. Not all pictures are on the property. SITE ONE: The nicer of the two site on the creek has granite outdoor counters, a round fire pit with a fold down heavy cooking grate, charcoal grill and a large wrought iron table and chairs. RENT A CAMPER WITH SITE 1 or BRING YOUR PERSONAL CAMPER: There is a camper site option on the other side of the creek with stairs and stones to cross the creek. 30 amp. 240 and 120 volt plugs. Click on additional fees for camper electrical hook up. SITE TWO: A large Yukon Solo stove(delivered upon arrival), wrought iron chairs for the fire, a separate picnic table, granite countertop work space and a small grill. 2 flat areas for tents. Set your chairs in the creek in front of your site. The clear cold water is a great place to relax and cool off or watch crawfish, minnows and salamanders and the occasional blue herron. 120V and string lights. We provide 4 - 16" diameter bundles of split wood or purchase additional bundles for 5.00 each. SITE THREE: or "Still Hollow" is more primitive and has no electricity and away from the road in the middle of the property. Small cascading waterfalls for a relaxing sleep. Granite countertop and grill and fire ring. Chairs supplied upon request. The old moonshine barrels are still barely standing by the spring. This site is also accessed from the opposite side of the campground on Ben Fly Rd or Greer Rd for the serious off roaders. 4 wheel drive may be necessary but a Hyundai car entered through the creek in 2 wheel drive. It was dry though. STAR GAZING for all 3 sites: There is a cleared area on top of a hill side for stargazing far from the city lights. CHECK IN: Check in can be as early as you like if the present campers have checked out. You can always hang out elsewhere on the property and start your day to explore and hike till they leave. Just let us know in advance. And you can stay all day the day of check out but you may have to pack up and park elsewhere if other campers need the spot. If not. Stay till dark. PHOTOS: EXPAND THE PHOTOS TO A SINGLE VIEW! You can see the description of each photo and which site is in the picture. Some are not at the campsite but nearby attractions. VEHICLE TYPE AND PARKING: In order to drive up into the campsite, you may need a 4x4 vehicle but definitely need ground clearance. If you do not have a 4x4 vehicle or ground clearance, that is okay, park in the field and bring your water shoes for campsite 2. There are stairs and rocks to cross over to Site 1. Stepping stones for site 2 are coming soon. LOCAL ACTIVITIES: TOUR THE AREA IN A CAN-AM: Check out 'Fisher's Off Road' to rent a really nice 4 seater CAN-AM machine. Drive around the local dirt roads for miles and learn the history of Moon Shine Alley, drive through many creeks and see some beautiful views. We took to tour with Fisher and it was a blast. https://www.fishersoffroadrentals.com/ PINEY RIVER Canoe rental: https://www.pinewoodcanoecamp.com/ Great fishing, floating and they have camping as well. OTHER CAMPING OPTIONS: PINEY RIVER GLAMPING: https://www.campspot.com/book/pineyriverresort Beautiful place on the piney river. Beautiful tiny home cabins, Glamping tents that are amazing. Park your own camper on the river.

Unexpected Delight
From the moment we made the reservation, Jimmy was the ultimate host! He provided easy to follow directions to the property and made must feel at ease with his communication. We came in after dark, and when we arrived he was there waiting to greet us with Southern hospitality! Once we crossed the small concrete bridge, we could see the beautiful cafe lights in the trees and as we pulled in, noticed the fire roaring. What a welcome! We were able to drive our camper van through the shallow creek, up to the site which overlooked a babbling brook. Just lovely! The next afternoon , Jimmy came by to check on us ( no cell service-great to unplug) and since we missed the window for ATV tour, he and his pup, Kylie, provided one for us through the whole property and beyond. It was fantastic! We and our pups, hiked up through the easy to follow trails later that afternoon. We invited Jimmy and his wife, Emily, over for a fire after dinner, to which they enthusiastically accepted. A lovely conversation over a bottle of wine wrapped up our day. We enthusiastically recommend this property! Jimmy and Emily, are extraordinary hosts and you will not be disappointed.

Still Hollow
This place is amazing and Jimmy is so kind. After i arrived Jimmy came by on his side by side ATV style vehicle with his super friendly dog and gave me a full off road tour of his property, pointing out hiking trails and several other areas he’s got around the place. You do need an SUV or truck to cross the creek into this camping area, which is also very awesome. Super clean, super secluded feeling. Great prep table setup, fire pit, wood, overall great experience. Will definitely be back, soon!

Creekside Retro Camper for Site 1
We really enjoyed our stay at this property! Jimmy was very welcoming and even took us on a brief tour of the land and trails when we arrived. He went above and beyond to make sure the camper was stocked and the heater was working as expected. Great communication and directions as well.
