PLEASE NOTE: The access code to the gate changes weekly. Check your access instructions for the correct gate code. Low Meadow Farms (formerly Brown Bike Farms) is a serene four-acre meadow bordered by Burnett Creek. The campground is an easy distance to Downtown Knoxville and an even easier access to all that South Knox's Urban Wilderness has to offer. It uniquely offers a hint of backcountry camping without the 25-mile hike in, a great way to test the waters for primitive camping or an easy stop close to the city for a seasoned traveler. It is best suited for off-road vehicles, bike, tent, and hammock camping. Our Campsites: Sites 1 through 11 are along the tree line that borders Burnett Creek. Site 12 is not on the creek and is up on a hill that overlooks the meadow. Lucky number 13 is located in the meadow across from campsite 5. Sites 1 and 2 are off the main path and have a grass/dirt access that can get muddy after a lot of rain. Sites 3, 4, 5, 6, 7 and 13 are easily accessed by a gravel road. Sites 8, 9, 11 and 12 are located on a dirt/grass road on other side of a ditch - some vehicles may not be able to drive to this area and will need to park about 50 yards away. (New owners will be installing a culvert in the coming months for easier access to this area.) There are fire pits all sites. Many trees are suitable for hammock camping in the sites along the river. Campsites are labeled by number from left to right upon entering the drive, except for 13 which is in the meadow across from site 5. Each site can accommodate 2 people to keep space between groups and lessen the impact on the land. If you have more in your group, we recommend reserving an adjoining campsite. Potable water and a shared portable bathroom are on site. ***New owners will be making some changes to the campground in the coming months. Please let us know what you liked and what changes you would like to see after your stay!***

The campsite was very well maintained and clean! They owners were very helpful when my hubby accidently locked the keys in our car. We had another camper message Kat and Aaron. They were on their way to help if we needed. Directions were easy to understand. They even had firewood and some cooking stuff available if we needed them.

Knoxville rocks!
Super easy all the way through. Beautifully kept sites and the cleanest porta potty I’ve ever seen/smelled! The proximity to Knoxville’s mountain biking Mecca, the Urban Wilderness is unmatched.

Fantastic. Right by the river there was plenty of space to turn my truck and pop up camper to turn and the area was flat and tidy. Would surely go if I was in the area again.

Camping by the creek
Kat’s was an amazing host and her land was wonderful. Loved the creek and openness of the land. Kids had a blast and so did we. Would definitely recommend and come back. Thank you.

The location was easy to find. Campsites were well marked and easy to find. Everything was convenient and quiet. We would be happy to camp there again. -Ben
