Welcome to the fresh Tassie country air. Our property is located south of Hobart, with open green paddocks surrounded by rolling hills and woodland. We have lots of wallabies and possums, and if you're lucky you'll get to see the local platypus in the creek. Close to the Longley Hotel which serves meals and has regular live music. 1.5km to Sandfly General Store. 10 minutes drive to a dump point. Welcome to the fresh Tassie country air. Our property is located south of Hobart, with open green paddocks surrounded by rolling hills and woodland.  This campsite suits self-contained campers who bring their own camping toilet/shower. There is a steep drive down to the paddock, 4WD is best but have had 2WD vehicles in and out when it is dry. One single party booking at a time, keep it all to yourself and share with a group of friends/travellers.  Our paddock is skirted by a flowing creek which you can draw water from and is in a rural area. We have lots of wallabies and possums, and if you're lucky you'll get to see the local platypus! We have many sites but take only one party at a time so it is all yours! One party includes a group of people camping/travelling together and allows for multiple vans and tents. We are flexible on numbers and length of stay (including a discount for a long stay). Get in touch if you would like to discuss!  You can choose any area on the paddock to set up - in the past campers have chosen a site that gives them complete privacy.  Fire-pot provided, barrow of firewood available to purchase as an extra.  Ideally situated between Hobart and the Huon Valley. We are Close to the Longley Hotel which serves meals and has regular live music. 1.5km to Sandfly General Store. 10 minutes drive to a dump point.  Please take your rubbish with you and be respectful of wildlife. Pets welcome.

Creekside Camp
Location, beautiful and peaceful!
This was the best stay of our whole month-long trip to Tasmania. Firstly, the host Jenni is lovely and was very flexible and encouraged a casual approach to camping at the site. Secondly, the location was second to none. 15-20 mins to all three of Hobart City, Bruny Island Ferry, and Huonville and the beautiful Huon Valley. Thirdly - what a beautiful, private creek side spot. Quiet and secluded and completely relaxing. We could not have asked for any more! Highly recommended!

Lovely little piece of paradise to stop off at for a few days. Perfect for exploring Bruny Island and the Hobart area. I look forward to hopefully returning soon. Thanks Jenni for your hospitality.

We had a very relaxing stay at Jenni’s property. The space was lovely and quiet and had plenty of space for our three families and the kids to run about and explore.

Family getaway
A spacious, tranquil and private setting close to all that Hobart and The Channel have to offer. We loved waking up to the birds and watching the wildlife come out at dusk. Welcoming hosts. Access with a 17ft van and 4WD no problem.
