Lucky Farms Under the Stars
Happy campers!
We enjoyed this hipcamp so much! The site was large and had level ground, a fire pit, and picnic table. The Porto potty was not far away, clean, and fully stocked with wet wipes to wash hands. We opted to purchase rabbit meat and enjoyed it so much. Thank you, Tay!!

Lucky Farms Under the Stars
Simple, secluded and comfortable
We had an amazing time hanging out with Marty, unfortunately Tay was out of town but we still had a good time. We ate a large family of 6 kids, a dog and two adults. So we take up a lot of room but we felt so comfortable and relaxed. We asked for a secluded spot and they definitely provided that. We had a couple of hiccups, because of our own issues, but they were very accommodating and we had easy access to the road and get to the city. It was our first trip of the season and our infants first trip ever and it was really just a great time. The site was well maintained even had a cute picnic table that really came in handy. Marty left us with a light, lighter fluid, plenty of wood and even a kite!! Which was way more than expected we really appreciated it. We’ve even already started planning our next trip to them. We were able to pull right up to the site which is really a necessary thing for us with all our kids. I can’t say enough great things about this site. It really is simple and perfect for what we wanted.

Lucky Farms Under the Stars 2
We were just passing through the area and needed a place to park, eat, and set up a tent. Lucky farms offers exactly that. The owners were kind and greeted us when we arrived. There is a big field to pitch a tent, and picnic bench to have dinner. There are also trails in the woods, and they are lined with lights. We spent some time in the night relaxing in the lit up forest, it was lovely. There was a toilet provided too. It is very simple but if that’s what you’re looking for it is well worth it.

Lucky Farms Under the Stars
I discovered Lucky Farms Under the Stars when looking for a place for a night of camping with my two boys (ages 13, 10) and our 13 year old Golden Retriever. I’m no master camper, and the weather got cold that night (we went in March), but we loved our stay! We particularly enjoyed time cooking on the fire pit (there were several available) the walking trails, and the peaceful environment. My boys brought their BB guns and bow & arrow sets and we had all the space we could ever need. We live in South Charlotte and it was an easy 40 minutes for us to get there.
I had the opportunity to meet the owners and they were both wonderful. I wasn’t sure how camping would go with my boys but not only did we get the quality time we needed but they want to come back and do it again. Thank you Lucky Farms! See you next time!

Loved it!
Marty and Tay are the best hosts ever!! They went out of their way to make us feel at home. I came home so relaxed and peaceful. Definitely recommend!
