So-so
The pros: Nancy was very friendly and chatty, with a neat outdoor shower set up. The cons: The access road was closed due to some construction which made it a bit difficult to find, and then there was no visible address anywhere that we could find, so it took us some time to verify we were at the right place. The bathroom was inside the hosts' house - we were not expecting that, and didn't love the surprise. Due to recent rains, the usual camping location was unavailable so we were accommodated, but ended up sleeping just a few feet from the house. Also, almost a week prior to our arrival there was a Health advisory for the lake due to a blue-green algae bloom - no swimming allowed. There was no mention of this from the host until we arrived. We went specifically to experience the lake, so were pretty disappointed and felt it should have been mentioned in the communications with the host prior to our arrival. So, in summary, it wasn't terrible and some things occurred that were beyond the hosts' control, but we will not be back.

Very nice lady but site not good
The camp site area for the second guest should have been unbookale. The area was under water and very hard to make use of. Didn’t know that the camp fire was also shared. The other guests were very nice but wasn’t the getaway I had expected.

Awesome spot with friendly host!
Nancy's space was in a great location, we camped up top which was close to the road, as the bottom area was wet from the heavy rainfall prior to our arrival. Nancy basically gave us free rein to set up where we would like, and we chose that spot as it was wide and flat and dry, and had a view of the lake. The road was very quiet so no issues there. Nancy was incredibly communicative and friendly and we had a great time chatting on the deck with her in the evening. She even went out of her way to help hook us up with dinner from the local dance hall, and gave us some tips about less touristy places to visit in the area. Nancy was kind enough to let us use the washroom in her house, and the outdoor shower house which was adorable and very pleasant! If you stay here, make sure to use it! Went swimming in the lake which was a very fun experience. Also ate a lot of icecream; the mini mart down the road has AMAZING selection of ice cream and milkshakes, and as Nancy advised us as we were leaving in the morning; breakfast sandwiches. Had a great experience staying with Nancy and would highly recommend it to others!

Wonderful spot and awesome host
Nancy’s spot is a great location close but secluded all at the same time. Perfect spot to park our van, wake up with a view of the lake! I checked about wifi since I had to do some work, Nancy responded right away and let us use her wonderful deck for my work and for relaxing, dinner etc. the shower shack is lovely when you been on the road for awhile! Nancy even watched our dogs while we went to use the spa pool for the evening. Highly recommend using the pool at the hotel! We will be back and for a few nights instead of one.

Nancy was super pleasant and welcoming. Her outdoor shower/tub was so great we didn’t want to turn off the water💦 The site we used for our tent was like a little hidden gem. The views from her place and wildlife surrounding it were amazing! Her coffee rivals some of the best☕️
