Nestled under the gaze of Mt Barney and Mt Maroon, this Land for Wildlife registered property is perfect for anyone wanting a quiet, peaceful and beautiful base for their time away. If mountain climbing is your thing then this is the place to be, with the Scenic Rim's mountains no more than an hour away. Koalas, Wallabies, Wedge Tailed Eagles, birds of all sorts, a babbling brook and still close to the great Shed Cafe. Art classes are possible 10 minutes away. Swimming at the Lower Portals is a 15 minute drive and a walk. A drink at the Rathdowney Pub or a 45 minute drive to the Scenic Rim Brewery. Boonah and it's great cafes, is only a 40 minutes drive. This area is fabulous for checking out the scenery and it's not far to the Lions Road. Ideal for family groups.

Site 1 - Willow Waters
Very peaceful with amazing views.
Although we originally booked site 1, Rachelle recommended we use site 4. Site 4 was truely amazing and had stunning views of Mount Barney. Very peaceful. We had cows visit on the other side of the fence. The property is close to Mount Barney national park with hiking access points and a nearby winery. Rachelle was a great host, popped in to say hi and even gave us some Easter treats. Overall was just what we needed and we will be visiting again!

We spent 3 very relaxing days here and it was perfect for us. Large, level mowed grassy site. Rachelle was very friendly and welcoming. Thanks!

So lovely
With it only being 10 minutes away from the start of Mount Barney it was the perfect camping spot for us to summit nice and early in the day. Beautiful views all around and it was super peaceful. Thank you Rachelle, be back soon!

Site 6 - The Longest Site
Peaceful
We enjoyed the peace and tranquillity of this site. We had it to ourselves, which is more likely than not. Would also be good for a group booking for a number of the sites. Our host was very welcoming, she popped over briefly in case we had questions. The site numbers aren't marked so take note of the descriptions. One morning a handful of lovely inquisitive cows quietly checked us out.

Super close to Mt Barney hiking
We loved staying here. Rachelle greeted us and even showed us the resident koala. The cows were friendly and very curious haha. Best spot to camp before hiking up mt Barney. Will stay again.
