Primitive camping
Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
My 40 acre property was part of the farm next door, and was sub-divided many years ago to allow a relative to live here. A 100 year old farmhouse sits here, very slowly being brought back to life. Gorgeous sunsets to relax by a campfire, with an evening drink. The property is quite flat, and very peaceful, so is great for camping anywhere.Pitch your tent, or pull in anywhere on the near level 40 acres, which has open paddocks as well as treed areas for shade. We are an hour west of Kingaroy, 20 minutes south of Boondooma Homestead, an easy reach of Boondooma Dam and the Bunya mountains. There is also a nearby local store with great food.  Campers are required to be self sufficient with their own toilet/shower facilities and must take all waste with them on departure. The camping areas offer access to large communal BBQ and safe fire pits to use free of charge. Added features coming soon include, an undercover communal outdoor kitchen with seating, a cooling off dip tank, and an enclosed off lead dog run. More improvements will be added over time.  Is is a very quiet and peaceful place to relax and unwind with the local wildlife.
